Very poor
15 minute walk into town. Found it very untidy. Can see were they tried to modernise the rooms but it still has the cheap motel look to it but they yet they still charge high prices , but to often there is mould and dampness in all the corners. I felt dirty leaving. The staff were a bit daft also to be honest. 1 Star unfortunately.

Good hosts
Booked in feb,lucky to get in being national lifesaving competitions, room was quite clean ,but dated..we had a spa room,but very small spa,really only big enough for 1 person..wanting to know of places to eat (somewhere where we haven't eaten before) the owner kindly rang the lorne country club for us,we booked there,and they even offered to drop us off,which i thought was very kind of them..overall we enjoyed our stay ,and will book again,but will pass on the spa room

great place to stay
We stayed at the Lorne Coachman Inn Saturday night 2nd of March 2013, our first impression was how friendly Angela and Terry were, we were made to feel welcome as soon as we checked in, the room was a good size, smelt great and was very clean, bed was comfotable . We would not hesitate to stay there again if we are in Lorne.

Great hosts and a good hotel too.
My wife and I stayed there and really enjoyed the situation. Terry is a wonderful host -- very knowledgable and vivacious. Ask him about the kookaburras and the koalas. The rooms are of good size, updated and nice fit out. A couple more items to fit out the kitchen would have been appreciated. Thanks so much.

A positive experience!
I called up on the day I was arriving and spoke to Angela. She was very helpful and professional and I booked the room.On arrival she greeted me and I checked in easily. As I said she's professional but also relaxed and you can have a chat to her and ask any questions if you have any.The room (and property in general) is very clean and spotless. You can see that they take pride in their property. I had a standard queen room which also has a bar fridge, a microwave, coffee and tea facilities and an ironing board. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was very big! The supermarket is virtually next door and you can walk into the shops and beach. Only a couple hundred metres away. The property is right across the road from he river. There was no noise at all from the neighbours, it was a pleasant sleep.I would make a return here next time I'm in.
