Price and rating
I thought it was a little over priced. I'm used to people hassling and trying to rip us off in Asia and I didn't appreciate how the pricing was not accurate on the same day we spoke to two different people and got two completely different results on pricing???! Which was odd. Elevator can literally only fit 2 ppl. Hot water ran out first thing in the morning. Staff were friendly. Hotel restaurant had hair in my two separate dishes. And ommelettes took forever for one. If looking for better value I wouldn't recommend this place and I don't think it should classify itself to be a 4 star because I stayed in a 2 star after that and enjoyed it a lot more.

Good base for exploring Ho Chi Minh City
Stayed here twice (before and after a week-long trip around Southern Vietnam). On both occasions we were given the same room. Suituated at the back of the hotel - so not much by way of a view, but also sheltered from the endless traffic on the street outside. Our room was large (although bathroom was small) and had a room safe, TV and minibar. Very good value at ¿¿30 per night. We departed early morning on 10th Feb (beginning of Tet) - and got the hotel to organise a Mai Linh taxi for us (one of the very few reliable and scam free taxi companies in Ho Chi Minh City). Even though it was New Year's Day, there was no surcharge on the metered fare to the airport and the journey was much quicker than expected. No doubt due to the fact that, in the previous week, almost half the population in a City of 9 million had gone back home for the long holiday (I think we met most of them on the roads of Southern Vietnam during our time touring!). Only one word of warning: avoid, like the plague, the cyclo drivers that hang about outside hotels in this area touting for business.

Okey, but nothing more
We stayed at Liberty 4 for about five nights on our round trip in southeast Asia. The hotel had friendly staff, as everywere else in this part of the world, and there was nothing to complain about concerning the rooms. Pretty big and comfortable. We didn¿¿t like the restaurant on the top of the hotel whose food was way to different for our taste.It was chaos outside the entry where the traffic situation was the worst I¿¿ve ever experienced. However, that¿¿s the reality in Saigon and if you¿¿re not looking for luxury Liberty 4 is a pretty good hotel.

Liberty 4 - Ho Chi Minh City
Liberty 4 is located right across from a park,restaurants and shops. Our rooms was on the 8th & 9th floor, which wasn¿¿¿t that noisy due to heavy traffic from 6 am to 12 midnight, but nothing major that would disrupt sleep (bring earplugs if you¿¿¿re a light sleeper). Our rooms was ok, bathrooms was clean, but small. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooftop restaurant setting inside or outside overlooking the city skyline. Buffet breakfast free before 9 am. and Wi-Fi available at free of charge (get P/W from front desk). Overall, happy with my stay.

Nice stay great service
Clean affordable close to everything. Nothing too fancy but has everything that counts. Including free WIFI. Night club on the 1st floor and a relaxation centre. Its clean quite and everything works. I have no hesitation on recommending this hotel for any travellers including families.Liberty hotels are run by government. And I expect are all of a similar standard.
