Great hotel
This is the second time that I have stayed here and both times I've been very impressed. The location is beautiful, rates very reasonable and facilities plentiful. The rooms we stayed in had a full kitchen with everything you would need (even a potato masher!), a washing machine and even a tumble dryer! The reception staff were very friendly and the onsite restaurant/bar of high quality. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very impressed
We're a couple from the UK, both aged 23. We were very impressed with the resort. The weather was absolutely awful for the entire weekend, but with wine tours, cave tours and plenty of restaurants nearby, it was great. Nice quiet sleep, great restaurant on the resort and the kitchen facilities were more than we expected. Some spot!

Fantastic location (5*), average room (3*), price for value (2*)
Margaret river is a great place to visit. Fantastic vineyards all around, unspoilt beaches, forrests, agricultured land. Margarets beach resort is a nice place to stay when visiting Margaret River. Near the town centre and basically on the beach. Direct surrounding nature is amazing. Prices are steep, especially considering the room / townhouse. It was spacious but not very child friendly (for toddlers up to 3 yo. Having said that, many B&B and hotels charge outrageous prices, so I would still recommend this place if travelling with a family. For couples or solo travellers you might want to stay near the center of Margaret River as it has nice restaurants, bars and stuff.

Great stay
Thanks to Lee and the team for a great stay albeit too short. The staff were most helpful giving us pointers on what to do locally. The location is great - short walk to beach and beach cafe across the road from the bar and restaurant at the resort. The apartments are modern, comfortable and well equipped. Easy drive to Margaret River and surrounds. Beautiful bush and beach scenery.

Nice stay spoiled by a wedding party
The night manager that welcomed us was friendly and informative. The apartment was a studio with ocean glimpses from the balcony, tidy and very pleasant. I love this area, the cafe on the beach, surrounding bush land, it's a lovely get away. I can see that families would like it due to the apartments being self catering and having a play area for the kids. The beach is a friendly swimming beach too which isn't always easy to find on this surfing coastline . You're 15 mins from Margaret River but Prevelly has a Genny Store for the basics.Unfortunately though a wedding party killed the whole stay. We were next door to the room they used to get ready the day of the wedding so people and children up at the crack of dawn. We could forgive this - it's a wedding after all, a very special day for them, in fact it was nice with all the buzz and excitement that a wedding generates. What we couldn't forgive was the noise that woke us repeatedly at 1am, 2am and 5AM! from people standing outside our door and shouting across the resort. After my partner and I independantly asking they went inside but it made no difference as the walls were so thin. We actually had to get up and knock on the door and ask them to turn the music down at 5am. If I had know there was a wedding party I would have booked somewhere else as my recent stay over Easter in Broome was ruined by a large birthday party that partied all weekend long into the early hours. I am getting really tired of spending money on holidays and romantic getaways that are completely spoiled by the other guests and I'm coming home more stressed out than relaxed. Please people have some respect for your fellow guests, we all work hard to be able to enjoy our holidays.
