A bit better than average
This Travelodge is a favourite for our family but it seems to have slipped a bit in regards to cleanliness. The shower could do with a spray of Exit Mould and in addition, the bathroom floor needs mopping in between guests! It was filthy!That aside, the beds are ok. I once said how much of a pain it is for two singles to be pushed together to make a king. I wonder if these folks have slept on a bed with a split down the middle. Oh well. Service from reception is good, the rooms are good albeit nothing flash. Overall it is very good but some minor lapses have it staggering on the border of dropping to average!

Nice hotel
The hotel itself was nice and in a good location for what we wanted. The service was very good - we prearranged a spot for our trailer and car and they accommodated it for the weekend even though its busy and there isn't much parking outside. Rooms were decent but there was no safe and the curtains didn't properly close letting in morning sun.The club below is pretty amazing, in the sense of great fitout to purposely keep patrons inside playing the pokies. It's easy to stay inside all day. Food in the bistro was very good, averagely priced, but very large servings. Very few vegetarian options.

first time visit
the whole bankstown sports club complex was beautiful, restaurants very convenient, food was delicious, the water features and plants fantastic, room appeared clean and tidy, then i found blood stains on one of the pillow covers and woke up to a cockroach on my pillow, was a little disappointing considering the rest of the place was perfect

This place rocks
PRO'S- Very clean hotel- Food, ood, Food : if your a foody you'll love this place. There's about 10 themed restaurants.- Fantastic entertainment to keep you busy from bands, gaming machines, bingo, dancing, sports bar with dozens of tv.- Cheap drinks.- Rooms small but clean and comfy.- Located in a very cosmopolitan part of Sydney with cheap shops surrounding.- You don't need to leave your hotel, there's heaps to do.- Train Station is a 5min walk away. Con's- Ummmmmmm, can't think of one.This hotel is like staying at a mini Las Vegas Hotel. I was really surprised in a very good way!!

Very enjoyable
I have stayed here regularly over the past 12 months as work accomodation. The hotel is located as part of the Bankstown Sports Club. Bankstown itself has a stigma of being a large lebanese community known for voilence & gang mentality. That is true, however the hotel is located in a friendlier more peaceful spot near the vietnamese area.The reception staff are very friendly & welcoming. The rooms are average size, appear reasonably modern & clean. Housekeeping staff have been rather careless at times trying to enter rooms which clearly state 'do not disturb' or very loud in their conversations which can echo up the corridor.There are alot of food choices at the club, if you don't mind waiting until 6pm for dinner. The bars close at 6am & reopen at 9am. There is a lovely beer garden with creek, water feature to enjoy the sun, a drink & a cigarette. The prices are a little overpriced for the quality of the meals. I would recommend walking through the arcade adjoining the club & dinning at one of many other restuarants in the area.I cannot comment on the carpark facilities as i travel by train, the railway station is less than 5 min walk to the hotel. Nor do i know the costs as it is paid by my company.
