Perfect for the traveller
Right by the railway station. The rooms are tidy and comfortable and it is close to the light rail and city trains. Rooms were quiet and staff efficient. If coming from the airport suggest you take a cab (If two of you). About the same price but it is a very long walk with luggage from where you leave the airport train. Just a short walk to the XPT platform however. There is also a good bus service to the airport. Leave plenty of time to get thru customs at Sydney airport!

Helpful and Friendly staff
Stayed here few months ago on a recommendation from one of my friends who is a frequent Booker. Its a good location for business traveler being situated right in the middle of CBD. Staff is always helpful and prompt. Its sad to read few recent comments from people who do not want to own their mistake but want to blame everything on staff for not being helpful. I am sure they must have enjoyed their stay whilst at the hotel but want to use TripAdvisor a tool to release their frustration. Paying $350/night doesn't mean staff is bound to serve you for next 20 years and keep posting your missing keysGreat location, Great Staff...Keep it up!!

Great clean room with awesome city views
Stayed on the first floor in a corner one bedroom apartment. Lobby was clean, spacious and beautiful. The room was great, with sweeping views of George Street and a tv in the lounge area and the bedroom. Shower was great with the pressure and everything was clean and modern. Despite being only metres from the busy street, we couldn't hear a thing! There was tea and coffee making facilities but no small sachets of milk so we couldn't make the most of it. The kitchen had a sizeable fridge, dishwasher, oven and everything else needed for a long stay. Breakfast was in the adjoining Mezbah restaurant which was of the highest quality.The only thing was the reception being understaffed - upon checkout at 8:20am there was only one struggling to service customers during this busy period. Only after 15 minutes of waiting did someone else come out and assist.

Lazy horrible staff, shame really
Left my car keys behind over the weekend, of course an inconvenience. I was carpooling with my family and didn't realise I had left them until the next day. I was in the city the full day after checking out and wasn't even given a courtesy call, I had to call to find out if I had left them there. My phone calls with a staff member named Jacob were unhelpful and he was very unsympathetic. Awful service. After 3 days of no keys I called back to see if they had been posted and nope, Jacobs excuse was "no one had been to the post office yet". No one could walk 5 mins down the road? I never received an apology and after calling them for a third time and expressing my urgency, I was spoken to rudely and informed they were indeed posted. Im still waiting, tomorrow will be the sixth day. I paid $350 a night for this place and this is their service? The place was nice, and in a great location but because of the useless and rude staff I will not be coming back or recommending to anyone.

Not up to scratch!
This hotel was a good option for an overnight stay - a short walk from Central Station's country platforms and only a $35 taxi ride to the international airport at 5.30am. Having said that, the twin room beds were extremely narrow, and there are better value options close by at a similar price. Reception staff were not friendly. I probably wouldn¿¿¿t stay there again.
