One of the better Four Points
The Four Points Geelong exceeded my expectations. The 7th floor room I was upgraded to was quite large with a great view of the bay. The location was perfectly located near many restaurants, bars, beach and a running trails. The hotel was quiet and offers a pool, steam room and gym. Unfortunately the gym does not have weights, only a few cardio machines. So I decided to go for a scenic run along the water. I recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in Geelong.

Very pleasant surprise
I had read reviews on tripadvisor which were not all that good, thank goodness I found that they were so wrong.Greeted with a smile on arrival, room clean and fresh, bed and pillows very good, breakfast was very good and the latte was one of the best I have had at a hotel. Overall I would say excellent hotel and I will be back

OK for a night
We had no choice, over wise would not have stayed. Expensive for was it was. The room was small with a lot of furniture. Breakfast room was very busy, not enough space for the crowd.. WC right next to the front desk, very unattractive. Internet is free at the lobby, with long number you have to put it for one hour and the reception was very poor. I tried musli for breakfast, It was off. I have pointed it out to the staff, no one was interested.

Faulty Towers
I was possibly given the worst room in the hotel. I had a lousy room. My room was at the back end of the hotel. There was nothing 'executive' about the room. I was freezing cold and there was dreadful noise from a rooftop generator. In short, all that horrendous noise from rooftop air con unit, but no air con in my room. They gave me a small bathroom fan heater, but that was inadequate. They did not honour the agreed rate. Staff increased the room rate upon checkout.The staff were insolent, unskilled and unkind. Rooms are very dirty and not cleaned until 4:00pm. I was unable to use my balcony because of noise from rooftop generator. There was not a proper bed. It was two single beds zipped together. The room service was questionable. I ordered fresh crumbed Snapper. I was given frozen battered fish from the children's menu. I had to go shopping for Winter woollens in order to survive in my freezing cold hotel room. It was an awful experience.
