A place that makes you feel comfortable
Every thing is first class, when you expect the best you get it.The suites are very large and well featured.A King Sized bed with super sized pillows and great doona .The bathroom has a shower with multiple nozzles and taps, the spa is perfect.I have stayed here since 1995 and keep looking forward to the next visit.

Very comfortable
Quite area with indoor pool and a golf course.Had a special for accommodation with a standard room which was tidy .Nice meal at the Links Restaurant for dinner.Breakfast on the day was not up to standard with so many problems.Three of the cereal cannisters would not release its contents with one person tipping cannister upside down.Then their was no milk in the coffee machine and also no tea bags.With all these problems put aside I would go back again.

Dated, but still a good place to stay
Very short drive out of Launceston (about 5-10 min) and as we had a hire car this was no issue. Nice quiet area amongst the Golf Course. It is set within the casino/club but you really do not notice this at all from your room.We got a manor suite at a good rate and 1st impressions were old and tired. They really could do with a bit of an update. But as you stay there you get use to it and becomes a very comfortable big room. The showers were amazing! Had 4 jet like showers coming out the wall, almost like having a spa in the shower.It was convenient with lots of choice for dinner and the restaurant did do good food. The buffet in the morning was sufficient but have had much better.Lots of facilities although they are dated too. Pool, spa and sauna are good. And the gym was decent, although very odd being setup next to the pool floor.Overall had no issues here at all and would be happy to stay again. Staff were friendly and helpful all the time too.

Dated but comfortable
Stayed at the villas which were very dated but comfortable. The setting on the golf course was quiet and the birdlife very friendly. The villas really needed a clean externally and the heritage colours are a bit old hat. We dined at the grill restaurant within the complex and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meals. The room is huge and lacking in atmosphere but overall we enjoyed the evening. The staff were all very friendly which is always a bonus-- thank you girls!

Comfortable hideaway in Launceston
I stayed here for three nights on a recent business trip. The place is a little dated but it's quite comfortable and quiet. A range of room types on offer, plenty of food options and a great in-room brekky menu. The Country Club is on the south side of Lonnie and quite handy to the airport, but you'll need a car or motorbike to get around; the city is about a 10 minute drive away.
