Very nice harbor view, great location, great services, great interior decor
Interior Decor: Intercontinental Standard - Elegant and lush. Warm and inviting.Outside view from the room (1402): Yokohama harbor waterfront. Can't get much better than this.Exterior appearance: Yacht like building. One of a kind.Services: Very professional front desk staffs.Location: In the middle of Minato Mirai/Pacifico area. Business/commercial areas.Price value: A bit expensive, but still reasonable considering that this is in the middle of Golden Week peak season.Room Size: OK at 25 square metersBed: Queen size. Soft and comfortable.Hotel is well kept both in the public lobby area and the room even though it's 22 years old.

Big busy hotel
Stayed here for 5 nites in April 2013. The room is very big, well equipped and clean. It is located near the convention centre and adjacent to the shopping mall where the Minatomirai station is located. Alternatively about 15 min walk there is another station sakuragicho for the JR line which can connect you directly into Tokyo. Many choice for your meal, 1 indian restaurant (halal) located in the mall. Many people as it is in the business district. Just in front of the hotel is an amusement park. The view from the hotel overlooking the bay is beautiful. Free wifi provided in the rooms.

4 star hotel, comfortable
This is a five star hotel that really is a four star. Good clean rooms with the usual comforts of Japan - bidets and bathtub. Good range of toiletries. The downside is - no pool/spa/sauna, staff are not great at explaining things and seem to speak limited English. We ended up googling what to do and where to go in Yokohama as the hotel staff could not explain well...The plus side is excellent location right near shops - great cheap local restaurants and minatomirai train station. Breakfast is ok, good but not excellent. We enjoyed our stay here.

nice convenient hotel
stayed at yokohama intercon for 1 night.. location is near the tourist attractions. walking distance to a theme park , noodle museum and mall. you can also walk to the train station . nice park behind the hotel where you can stroll along the river or just hang around. hotel room is small but bed was very comfortable..hotel staff are very helpful and friendly..checking out is a bit slow though , there was a long line of hotel guest checking out. would recommend this hotel if planning to visit yokohama..:P

Excellent Stay
We recently stayed at the Intercontinental in Yokohama and thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was short. The staff were very helpful. We stayed on the Club Floor and definitely recommend this experience.
