I love this place
I have alwasy loved staying at the Hilton, and this hotel is the reason why. First I am greeted by everyone there, either by name or by a warm smile. Then while I am checking in I asked a simple question, to which the lady at the check in desk asked, is it a special occasion, and I replied yes it is, I am surprising my wife, since I hav been working out of town, and they upgraded me to the corner room with a view. This made a beautiful night that much more special. Thank you Hilton, I will stay there again and again...

Great Service!
The minuet you drive up there is bell men just waiting to serve you 24/7. Parking being so reduced its best you do get valet parking there is a $20 per night fee,but where else are you going to park your vehicle. The clerk at the front desk was very polite and check ed me and my family in just a few minuets. Overall is Clean. Great view if you get front rooms. Great lobby Decor. Pool is huge. Great Service just pick up the phone and you'll have your drinks in a few. We had a family reunion in Glendale May 2013.

Outside looks nice, but Hilton Glendale Staff...
As a Hilton Gold member, this hotel staff would ignore your status, and would not listen to customer. They would charge parking $19/night even weekend that should be free, WIFI in room $13/day, and free continental breakfast, $6 to upgrade. Great location, but I would rather stay in Embassy Suites has more to provide just 1 block away, free full breakfast, cheaper parking.

NO Safety measures in place. ONE scary place to stay...stay away!
I made reservations to stay here about 2 mos prior, because my husband had stayed Feb 2013, and its close to our daughter's residence as well as seemingly decent HILTON. BEWARE. We were unnecessarily bullied and threatened by what security man Rudy and Management Shanena determined as a "mentally ill" 6.2 man staying in the hotel. He had a guardian who was completely irresponsible and left him wandering the hotel to scare people. .He got into the hot tub with his pants on, then striped to his underwear and entered the swimming pool and decided to pick on us for no reason. Throwing water at us from the pool, yelling at us..and then getting out to approach us with chest out front when my son politely asked him to refrain the water tossing. My children and my self were frightened that his next move he would attack..all this whilst his guardian talked on the phone in the corner, oblivious and doing nothing. We had witnesses at the pool who confirmed our story to security and even went so far as to say he was scared and it was seriously an issue. They DID NOTHING! Trying to write off this behavior all because he was deemed mentally ill. SO WRONG. At that point we asked to be transferred to another hotel... they had nothing to offer us, but a refund. So we left this hotel. Upset, frightened and disgusted. They have horrible safety policies..or actually none. It doesn't matter if your are mentally ill,. you cannot threaten people in public places, steal and suggested this behavior is acceptable.. The man's guardian even went so far as to say quote: "she seriously doubted that anything at happened "and called me mentally ill when I challenged her on that summary of events. . I am employed at a large hospital and my husband a at church of 3000 members. My daughter is an also executive and in any of our public work places there are immediate safety measures, routines and security systems set up to handle behaviors that are threatening, and definitely that victims are not re-victimized. Hitlton did not feel safe to us. We are compassionate people...we were victimized, and bullied. Witnesses came forward afraid for us. The Glendale Hilton Hotel apparently thought we were exaggerating and did not trust our account of the seriousness of the situation. I have never seen a response so irresponsible by management.. Because of our experience, we offer a BEWARE to all future travelers. .Note: The bully was left unattended afterwards wandering the lobby and even tried to get on the elevator with us after we asked security to stay with us . He had to aggressively stop him. Just moments before he stole food from the gift shop and frightened the employee. FINALLY We were offered a refund but no compensation for having to move to another hotel . They didn't listen to us..but instead to the bully and the irresponsible guardian. . Hilton management allowed us to be called names, be bullied , scared and threatened. NOT GOOD HILTON MANAGEMENT and SECURITY.I am upset and will be contacting lead management. We are out $290 because of the emergency move to another hotel . It very much felt like someone in our family would have to be attacked or beat up by this man before tmanagement or security believed us. I want to ask..because the man was mentally ill, its okay to threaten people? That is the message that this Hilton suggested to us. That is wrong and completely irresponsible. There are better hotels around the corner to stay. Avoid this one at all costs. Security man Rudy went so far as to tell us this man has stayed with them before. He remembered him and his guardian. So guess what. We wont be staying there, but HE might be there if you choose to stay here. Good luck with that. Never again.

Extra charge for a microwave & refrigerator
The room was nice enough and the bed was comfortable. The windows don't open but the air worked very well. I feel it is wrong to charge extra to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Many times during the day and night we could hear the sound of doors slamming. Just around the corner is Conrad's restaurant which is open 24 hours! Great food.
