Military Friendly Hotel!
Came out to Las Vegas for 5 nights. The team at the LVH was awesome. They have the nicest rooms for the price in Vegas. If Military ask for the discount...25%off the lowest advertised price...even Friday and Saturday. The room was clean. Staff was great. Casino was fun and the cocktail service was on time.

We booked this hotel because it is right next to the convention center and we wanted the luxury of being able to come back to our room when we want. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a modern room. Also, the Keurig coffee maker will cost you $4.00 per cup. Really! No free coffee in this place. I do have to say that the beds are very comfortable though.

Still a great hotel and casino
Stayed at the LVH May '13 and very impressed witht the friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms and delicious food in the Paradise Cafe and the Burger Bistro. Try the corn flake coated french toast at the Paradise Cafe...absolutely delicious!! Great variety of slots also with alot of play time and some winnings. Monorail at the front door offered easy acess to the strip. A very enjoyable and pleasant stay with reasonable rates. Altho no refrigerator in the room., staff offered one free of charge. A coffee maker in room with a charge of $4 a cup. JG

Passed the days of its glory...
I stayed in this off-the-strip hotel for a business trip in September 2012. It was convenient for us as we were exhibitors at LVCC (MINExpo) and this hotel is right next to it. Otherwise I'd choose another location. Obviously it once had its fame, but now it's faded... The rooms and halls look rather washout, and are in need of redecoration. However, the staff were really nice, and the breakfast is certainly for guzzlers- you really don't need that amount of food, but it was delicious. Moreover, the hotel has its own monorail station - you get to the strip in 10 minutes max. Although taxi is an easier way to get anywhere in Vegas I'd recommend you take the monorail once - it has its own charm.My advice is to go somewhere else than LVH to get a truly Vegas experience. The hotel is a good option for those having business at LVCC though.

Good room price but be ready for extras
LVH is clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. It is not on the strip so we drove over and parked for free on the strip or you can take the monorail, $5 each way per person. There is no coffee or mini fridge in the room so every meal is out and 2 coffees and a muffin was almost $15. The spa was nice, clean, with good amenities, but again an additional $20 per person per day. Pool is included, but hot tub was having maintenance. Overall a good stay, but don't think it is less than other places because it all adds up in the end.
