False Advertising!
Came up to Darwin for university, so picked this hotel as it was more in my price range and advertised free wifi as I have assignments I need to complete. However when trying to connect it appears non existant. Approached hotel desk to which they claimed they had tried restarting it and still not working. She did not appear worried. When I explained that I needed the Internet, she said they would try and get it looked at tomorrow. Reading back now on other reviews I noticed other mentions of terrible wifi so it's obviously not a new thing. The room has an old musty odor and the smoke detector has no battery in it and is hanging off the roof. My room is right outside the laundry, which was running at 6am.Yes the rooms are clean however I am not enjoying my stay at all

An improvement on excellence....
Several months ago I reviewed Vitina Studio Motel and would like to give you a update of this fine establishment. I would have thought it would be nearly impossible to improve on what was already a great place to stay at a very reasonable price, but I was wrong. The Vitina Studio Motel, Darwin, has improved in its hospitality sector. Now there is a daily buffet for breakfast and for dinner, with great choices of home-style cooked meals to restaurant style dinners, You can also order a wonderfully cooked steak to order and the salad bar has multiple choices for your dining pleasure. Reception staff are pleasant, always with a smile and eager to answer your every inquiry. Seriously, you cannot go past a better place to spend your holiday time, be it overnight or longer,than Vitina Studio Motel, located on Gardens Road, overlooking the Darwin Golf Club, a short distance away. Darwin CBD is only a short taxi ride away and is easily within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean, all with air-conditioning and flat screen television and there is a well maintained swimming pool for your enjoyment. The bar is open daily with a wide variety of beers and adult beverages. Make your booking as early as possible as this is a very popular place to stay. Excellent. affordable accommodation
The Vitana Studio Motel, 38 gardens hill road, Darwin, Northern Territory, is a very old motel that has a 100% rennovation and is now once of the best boutique motels in Darwin. The rooms are air conditioned with ceiling fans, the bathrooms and toilets are all the latest modern porcelain ware, the beds are new and very comfortable and the reception staff are professional and friendly. Located at the top of Gardens Hill Road, overlooking the Darwin Golf Course and just a 10 minute walk into the City, The Vitina Studio Motel serves a very good breakfast, Continental or fully cooked. as it is now going into the Wet Season, only breakfast is served, but during the season the restaurant is open for all three meals. I might also mention the beer is very cold and you can enjoy your favourite adult beverage poolside. There is a outdoor BBQ. Plenty of parking space is provided for the guest and taxi service is always an option for getting around, plus, it is only a 4 minute walk to the bus stop. (Darwin has one of the best public transport systems in Australia)all things considered, i would highly recommend the Vitina Studio Motel for a overnight or long stay, up to you. The room rates are very reasonable. the rooms comfortable (with fridge in room) and security of your possessions foremost in the staffs mind. We scanned the web and took a chance on Vitina and could not have been more satisifed. The Rooms and facilities were spotless: included were a pool and nice breakfast area. Where this property shines is the staff, all were exceptionally patient and helpful, especially Debbie, who spend quite a bit of time helping us book a room in Sydney. We can't comment on the price since are more expensive in the Australia than the States. We would definitely stay there again.

Luxury for less
I stayed in Vitina early this year and I can say that it was a great experience while I was in Darwin. I stayed in one of their studio rooms and I just loved it because it was very cozy and clean and the housekeeping staff were very attentive. With regards to their restaurant, They serve breakfast very early in the morning which is good especially for people like me who likes to start the day early. Plus the eggs can be cooked according to your preference. Another thing is that you can sit near the pool outside and just enjoy the fresh air while eating your breakfast. The people in the front desk were very helpful as well. Its my first time in Darwin and to be honest, I didn't know where to go and what to do but the receptionists helped me by giving me directions. I love the fact that you can approach them anytime and they'll be very happy to help you with anything.I will definitely recommend Vitina Studio Motel to my friends and relatives because it was a pleasure staying with them.In three words, I can sum up my experience in this motel and that would be "Luxury for Less".John and Angel,see you next time!Cheers!
