The location is simply the best for single male traveler n extremely tight budget. Other than its almost zero sound proof n not for people above 1.8m, I cant find our other fault with them. I did enjoy the stay with them.

Good experience but not really a good place
Staying at a capsule hotel was on my to-do-list and for me (a Swede) it was an unique experience. The experience is rated 100% but I can't really rate the hotel that high.Capsules were comfortable and spacious. Good restaurant/bar/lounge on 4th floor. Big onsenlike common bathroom (men only). The tiny locker was a joke. No place to dry wet towel. Capsules were not lockable.Hotel is located in an Entertainment district with lots of nightlife. However it's also a kinda red light district. Even in the hotel there is a "Shemale Bar" (2 nd floor). I didnb't go there though.Staff were not so keen or helpful and there were all sorts of silly rules and procedures involving shoes, keys and you name it. Even if you stay several nights you can't access your capsule betwixt 10-16 which is stupid.Would I stay there again: Probably not.Can I recommend a foreign visitor to stay there: Hell yes!

You should know what to expect...
It takes a few days to get to know all the rules and circumstances of this hotel. E.g. you have to learn quickly how to organize yourself as there is limited space in your locker and you cannot leave stuff in your capsule because it cannot be locked. Also you have to leave the hotel for cleaning purposes from 10am to 4pm, which can be a bit unhandy if you have been out for partying until the morning. But overall this is also, why it is such a special Japanese experience. You get to know how things work in this country. It has been a very special experience - so if you are traveling solo or as a group without chicks this hotel is highly recommended as it is a lot of fun, cheap and in a great location!!

A unique experience for all adventurers!
First time in Tokyo so what to do? Oh I know, sleep in a little box! I heard about this from a friend and couldn't wait to try it out. Unfortunately finding this place is ridiculous the first time. As it is located on the 3rd floor to 7th of some building, there is no immediate sign. Thank god for Google street view (walked around for an hour!).Once on the 3rd floor (lobby), you are instructed to take off your shoes and place them in a locker with key. You then leave your big luggage at the desk and small stuff you can place in another locker (warning, Asian fit! These lockers are TINY, barely enough for a backpack). Afterwards, you go back to the slow elevator to the upper floors where all the capsules are. The capsule itself is fairly roomy for a 5'9 guy like me (I can lay straight down without hitting my head or feet). There is a TV inside the capsule with (weirdly enough) a special button called "Band" which turns on porn. There is a central panel with alarm clock, light dimmer control, and power outlet. WiFi is all over the place and was very solid for me. There is no door to the capsule but rather a drape so be aware of that.Because of the lack of a door, the sound travels into your capsule easily. You can hear snores, shuffling, walking, sneezing, etc. I was OK with it but your mileage may vary. There are public baths so you can't be shy about showing off your junk (shared washroom with the ENTIRE floor). You have to leave the capsule at 10 AM everyday so they can clean it. Don't leave your stuff behind in the capsule. You can return back at 4 PM. I only stayed one night anyways so this didn't affect me.Also note, that this is located in Kabukicho Shinjuku area which is the "red light district" of Tokyo. There are tons of dudes trying to pimp out their bars/girls/sex etc. Just keep your wits about and you'll be fine.I recommend this to anyone who wants a new experience to remember. Would I go back? No, but I was glad to have marked this off on my list of things to do.
