Good location but very noisy
This was an average lower end hotel in Bangkok. The location was good, close to Patpong and Chinatown and only 5 mins from the Skytrain station. Staff were friendly and helpful answering any questions that we had where they could. We were on the 5th floor and the road noise even at that level was pretty loud throughout the night so might be better to stay away from a main road if you are a light sleeper. Room was fine if a little tired, beds were incredibly hard. I know it is the normal for harder beds in Asia, but this was literally like sleeping on the floor! Bathroom also ok with lots of hot water.There is a curry house next door so the shared areas and I would imagine some rooms smell strongly of curry, luckily ours did not! Nb our safe did not work, so they gave us a padlock for an old fashioned one set in the wall.Overall ok but would not return.

Love this place
Have stayed here at least 10 times over the last seven years. Wonderful staff ,great location, good rooms for an unbeatable rate in this area .Free Breakfast ok, eggs, toast and one! cup of coffee. It is not the Orient, but you get++, what you pay for.

Middle of Bangkok, good price and quality match.
Wonderful staff, very good location (Silom, next to BTS Surasak (skytrain), food market, 7/11, cafes, or pier Saphan Thaksin- to get to Grand Palace, Wat Arun, etc.). Quiet in the night, but always convenient to walk into Silom party zone!

You get only what you paid for
Pros:1. Location is good. 15 minutes walk going to Pier which is the best transportation to go to Wat Pho, Wat Kor, Grand Palace. (15 mins by boat ). Location of Night market too.2. USD$32 per night, you will have one queen size bed, TV with cable, shower bathroom. 3. Near to airport around 30mins only (without traffic) via Express Road. Around THB350 including Toll fees.4. A lot of cafe's, spa, food restaurant nearby.Cons:1. NO FREE INTERNET. Since, I wanted to check all the time my email. I spent 4hrs to one of the cheap coffee shops nearby which has FREE internet. 2. During night, I decided to BUY their internet card which is around USD$10 for 5 hours which looses connection in my room, quite SLOW and have log-in and log-out procedure... as the internet always go down, the time for internet RUNS then suddenly have no credit already. Very TROUBLESOME and waste money.All in all, if you are keen to go to night market and Grand Palace then this hotel suits you. However,if you are an INTERNET savvy or always wanted to check your email. You may find troublesome to go out just to USE an internet.

Luxury stay right in the heart of Bangkok
We have stayed there for 10 days and we have enjoyed a very clean great room, with wooden floor, nice bathroom, and very confortable bed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The price, unbeteable!! The laundry service is quite expensive so it is better to go somewhere outside.
