Fabulous, central, peaceful place
It took me about 2 weeks to decide on which hotel we want to stay in Paris, there are so many hotels but not much of the ones I would stay in or like them. I wanted to find a quiet place not a huge place and where we could feel at home and spend some quality time with my g/f. This was a good choice, after the flight we took the roissy bus which costs 10euro per person, and takes around 40min from Airport (worst airport in europe De Gaulle), we were happy to get out of this airport and reached the centre, the bus stops in front of the Opera, you can reach hotel by foot, it takes around 10min, so no need for taxi or other stuff. The staff was welcoming and polite, nothing bad to say, we booked a nice superior room, and got it on the 5 th floor facing the road, but nothing to worry not much of the noise during a night... during the day we did not spend much time there because there are many things to see in Paris and where to chill. THe room was simple but nice and big compared to the Paris style and the main thing I wanted it was fresh, the decor was good no bad smell tidy carpets and bath. I was happy it was in the peacefull area, the main streets are too busy for me because I do get frustated when being in crowded places.It was fantastic to see that the hotel really was like shown in the pictures on the website, the buffet breakfast was very good, salami, bread, cheese, fruits and ect. If you want some peace and romance with your b/f or g/f choose this place like I did, I engaged my g/f at night in front of the Paris Eiffel tower, so some things to remember, If you are planning to do, pick this hotel for some relaxing time, will not be disappointed even though its expensive compared to the all standart. The area is also full with many restaurants and so on. and close to everything. Have fun.All the best to the staff at the front desk.

Good Hotel but too small rooms
It was a good hotel, but the rooms are really too smal also we had one of the biggest rooms. The staff was very friendly and they do speak English..We got a room with a balcony which was very good.. I do not want to know how small the other rooms are! For the price in the middle of and for a 3 days stay in Paris the hotel was perfect, a good start for discovering Paris by feet.. Madeleine is about 2 minutes a way, Place de la Concorde about 10 minutes...we walked all the days through Paris and we returned to the hotel every time we felt tired.. Also 19 EURO breakfast is quite good for Paris but for what you can get in the hotel it was a little bit expensive..I think we will book it again if we will go once again to Paris...

excellent hotel - great location - beautiful clean rooms
Excellent hotel in a great location. We booked a junior suite for the 3 of us. It was very roomy and spacious, especially for Paris. We had a 2 floor room... main bed (double bed), a desk, minibar, small table with 2 chairs, and a closet. Also on this floor the toilet. Upstairs was the bath, sink and a small extra bed in a little "attic" like loft. The room was clean and very elegant, but I have to say it was a bit weird to have a toilet downstairs and then you have to run upstairs to wash your hands. Also there is only a bath... and no where to hang the shower handle... so either you sit down in the bath or very carefully shower while trying not to get the whole bathroom wet. Otherwise this was a great room, friendly staff, nice breakfast, and they even had umbrellas for us to use. I would definitely stay here again.

My no-hotel experience
I was pretty excited about staying at this hotel after researching tons on internet, trivago, etc, etc. It just look so pictured-perfect, lovely rooms, all boutique-modern style, which I love, and a bonus: a couple of gym equipment for my daily exercise routine (a treat in Paris).I arrived at 14:30 at the hotel and all I got was: there is a problem with your room and we have been allocating you to our sister hotel the Best Western Opal which is 10 minutes away walking distance. And this is for free.What???? I already payed for the room. What you mean is that I dont have to pay extra, dont you? -Oh yes, the change is for free 9Lucky me, huh?). Truly disgraceful. The hotel was ok, with a lovely personnel, but not as nice as the first one, no gym, not as cozy and luxurious, so I am truly mad about not been able to be there or been offered a hefty discount for been in an obviously cheaper hotel.DISGRACEFUL.
