Modern and Great Location

Really easy to get to take exit 14 from Namba station the walk is all under ground to the exit ( yep you have to walk up stairs but not too many ) walk straight ahead over a bridge - the Cross Hotel is on the corner turn right and keep walking until you see "gold member" is next door.... that was the easiest way for first timers once you get use to the location there is quicker routes. Rooms big and modern for Japan, staff really helpful we borrowed an adaptor and they gave us directions to Bic Camera to buy our own as I couldn't find 3 prongs one Australia ($6). Really quick LAN - we took a longer cable with us to make it easier. Couldn't fault this place - I read this was in a red light area- we were there on the weekend and heard / saw nothing.

Great location, clean, new with good price!

We have booked a room for 5 nights with hotel vista grande osaka. we would give a thumb up for the room. newly renovated, clean, comfortable bed, clean toilet, great shower experience and great location. will definitely come back for our next visit!

Great stay

Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Free wifi in the lobby and well located for shops, restaurants and nightlife. Easy walk to/from Namba or Shinsaibashi stations, or a cheap taxi fare. Great stay.

BEST stay in Osaka!!

The hotel is in a great location!! If you want to go out and have a good night out this is the place to be!! It is very good value and most subways close at midnight so it's the place to be. Originally booked 3 nights but had to change to 1 nights stay they were very helpful and understanding.Lots of shopping and clubs surround it. Very easy walk from Namba station take exit 14, walk towards the big H&M store. We caught a cab from Osaka station to the hotel which isn't too pricey if you are too tired to walk around. The room was very spacious and it looks exactly like the photos. The bed and pillows were super comfy !!! The aircon was a DREAM !!Staff were very lovely and helpful in helping with which station to go to if you wanted to see the Castle, Aquarium or going to the Airport. We had the breakfast at the restaurant, nothing special but it was good enough to fill your belly. Would definitely stay here again !!

Spacious hotel in Osaka

I booked this hotel 2 months ago for a really affordable price (for 1 night). It took awhile to find the hotel from the Namba subway station, partially because we had luggage and had to get out at an exit with an elevator, and also because I had no detailed map. Without luggage it probably would've taken 7-8 minutes. Located pretty centrally in Dotombori, near shops, restaurants and bars, As long as you don't mind all the neon cheesiness and people, it's the place to be. There were plenty of places to eat, but it seemed like a lot of places didn't have English menus and couldn't accommodate us (except for the ones where they actively tried to get people to go to their restaurants. Checking in was easy. The hotel is very secure with key activated elevator. The room was spacious compared to typical Japanese hotels. It was very quiet. The bed was less firm than usual, which seemed more comfortable. Pillows and comforter were filled with down. PJs were provided, but it was more like a robe/sleep shirt. Bathroom was a decent size, with good shower pressure. They had complimentary water. We had Wifi access in the room from other servers, but Wifi through the hotel was available in the lobby. In room safe was available. Since we weren't leaving Osaka until 9pm, they held our luggage for several hours while we went out sightseeing. Took a taxi ($560Yen) to Namba Nankai (Express $880 Yen, can use Suica card, or Rapit $1110? to get back to KIX). Cons: no hotel in room Wifi, distance from SubwayPros: Location, spacious room, cost
