nice boutique hotel
we loved the room. we had a junior suite and it was very big, all old teak floors and walls. The online rate for a jr. suite was around 3000 baht a night, very good. It had a kitchenette with a big dining table. The bathroom was huge and all new, marble and teak. The bed was very comfortable. However, there are a few things the hotel should address, several of which have been mentioned by previous reviewers. The shower hot water was unstable, going from hot to cold and needing constant adjustment. My wife hated this. The air conditioning vent is facing the bed with no way to change the angle. That meant the cold air was either blowing right on us or we had to turn the aircon off for awhile. I had to get up during the night to avoid either freezing or melting. The toilet is positioned facing the glass shower stall with very little leg room. Your knees have to almost ride up the glass wall, a problem if you're tall. It's almost impossible to open the huge balcony doors, no sliding aids, just massive glass and wood doors in rails. Movable, but it's like dragging a bed. The breakfast was nice, but they wanted us to order the night before. This was inconvenient for us to remember to do every day, so we often showed up without pre-ordering. They served us anyway, no problem.Something the hotel can't do anything about is the walk to the mrt. It's not very far, but if you're not used to the bkk heat you will be soaked by the time you get there. We didn't look forward to the walk after shopping all day, but taxis had no idea where this place is. There is a nice western supermarket around the corner if u want to use that kitchenette. Honestly, despite what other have said, we didn't find anything of interest in the area. It's a pretty tame street for bkk. Still, it's just a metro stop away from Siam Paragon, so we didn't mind.

An Excellent Mid-Range Option in BKK
It was a true delight to spend 4 nights in a stylish hotel that offers good value for money. The super clean rooms are tastefully designed in contemporary style, having tall solid wooden doors that reach all the way up to ceiling. The bathrooms are spick and span and also well designed. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The pool is a welcome treat, especially for kids after a sweaty day out in humid BKK. The skyline stations Chit Lom and Phloen Chit are about 15-20 minutes¿¿¿ walk, and Lumphini Park is only 5 minutes¿¿¿ walk from the hotel. The location can be a bummer, if someone is not too keen on walking in the sweltering heat outside. Just wear a hat and carry a bottle of water along.

Comfort and stylish living in the middle of Bangkok
Stayed here during the Songkran Festival, at the 3rd floor, it was a really nice pleasant experience.Upon checked-in, the bell boy brought our 2 big luggages in our room without expecting a tip,while the receptionist were friendly enough to accommodate us, they even speak Chinese Mandarin too, which was uncommon in thailand.The Hotel itself is a combine of modern arts with stylish design, big woods were mostly used as their main theme, rooms were spacious with woods as their flooring, while the bathroom is big enough to suit your comfort. The pool is not that big, and not seem as welcoming, so we didn't take the plunge, its nice to look at though while you're having your breakfast.Breakfast is simple enough with a choice style of your eggs, with bacons, sausages, baked potato and tomato on the side, plus a buffet style of breads, cereals, fruits and juices.Location wise, its like 10-15 mins walk to the nearest skytrain (BTS) station, walkable to silom (patpong) area though, and located in a more quiet district.Our room is in 310, pass 12 midnight, we can still hear loud music from a nearby club, so i think thisis not good for guest who sleep early, im not sure if this music is heard from other rooms.Overall, i had a great stay with this hotel, no complain or whatsover, i will definitely stay here again if given a chance again.

real treat in a calm location in a crazy city
This hotel felt like a real treat-cool, modern and very calm place . The location isn't perfect for sightseeing but is easy enough to get to town and it is close to places like lovely Lumphini park and the boxing stadium. Lots of MTR and sky train stations nearby so I enjoyed taking the sky train to the pier and then taking a boat up to the grand palace. The pool is lovely, breakfast is western/plentiful and very good. Rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean and I think all have balconies. You can borrow books and DVDs from their reception and staff are incredibly helpful and polite. There's also a Japanese restaurant on the premises and a few street cafes nearby. In short I loved the place. Perfect at beginning or end of trip to really relax.

nothing special
Stayed for a few days in April 2013. Overall, the hotel was fine. The staff was very friendly, but the housekeeping was kind of lacking. Free internet but with inconsistent service. Breakfast was good and a good value. Location was close to the Sky Train and a nice park. Not a ton of food options on the street. We chose the hotel for its proximity to friends we were visiting, but there may be better places in Bangkok that are closer to the action.
