Great location, clean and updated.
This hotel is clean, neat and has been updated. It was a reasonable rate. The TV was a little small for the size of the room. Great range of DVD's for free however our DVD player didn't work. The beds were comfortable and good luggage space. Overall very happy with this accommodation for three of us.

Not too bad.
This place is a little gem. No frills - basic accommodation (TV could do with updating), but all else was quite modern and spotlessly clean. I actually thought I was the first person to use the room. On making this initial observation I was focused to finding something amiss.....but nothing! I was very impressed. Bed was really comfortable...and air conditioning worked very nicely. Staff were great...polite and down to earth and made me feel very welcome. If in Ipswich again....I'd return to this hotel....if nothing more than to find something out of place!!

Clean and tidy
This is a nice place to stay, although a little overpriced for the size of the rooms. If you want to watch TV in a double room you have to sit on the bed, so if you intend spending a few hours watching TV ask for a larger room or one that has some furniture. Clean and tidy, although the bathrooms were a little old fashioned. Good for a night.

Not bad for the money
Stayed two nights for business last week, this hotel is modern and in a good location in the Ipswich CBD with some cafes close by,onsite underground unsecured parking available with card access to the lifts is a bonus.My room was on the 5th floor which consisted of a queen and single bed,the bed was very clean and comfortable. The Flat screen TV was a joke as it was too small to watch from the bed. Open wardrobes and tea/coffee maker in the desk, very basic.Other people have mentioned about the shower head and I can confirm its extremely weak due to the water conservation measures taken to save water in the region. Soap and saving cream via a wall dispenser, reasonable quality. Only problem I had was the noise coming from the roof above. All night some banging noises which interuppted my sleep. Front counter staff very nice on check in and the restuarant chef helped me out with a special request for dinner. Prices OK and basic food available. I had a Potaoe & Leek soup with hot bread roll for $9.50 which was nice. All in all. 9/10. A decent room for a fair price $99.00 . Good for the business person with a night or two to stay.

Orthopedics abandoned
Currently staying at this hotel, it was booked for me through a third party. For the past two days I have woken almost unable to walk due to a sore back, compliments of the poorly sprung, sagging excuse for a mattress. When I tried to sleep on the sofa, I discovered it was broken. Tonight I will be sleeping on the cushions from the sofa laid out on the floor.... I hope the organization who paid for the booking didn't pay too much for it... Stay else where. That being said- check out was ok, the kitchenette is handy and the bathroom is alright.
