Stayed 4 nights in a one bedroom apartment with balcony over looking the Cullen bay marina (the view made the room worth the nightly rate which was not cheap)Our room was very dated but very clean with coffee and tea making facilities and also plates, wine glasses and crockery. The whole complex is very dated and stuck in a 80's time warp but I believe the rooms are individually owned so I'm not sure if some of the rooms have been done up. Having a pool in the complex was great to swim in after being out all day and was very clean With BBQ facilities (great for families ) ..would I stay here again ? I would the location is great with being very close to all these great places to eat in the marina overlooking the waterIt is also a very short walk to the casino complex and also the Mindil beach night markets (open on a thurs and sun night April to oct ) the food is amazing and is worth the visit Overall we enjoyed our stay

Very nice independently owned apartments - the usual in that the photos dont depict the apartment that you have! However, we stayed 7 nights in a very spacious 1 bedroom apartment which was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped, even had a tea pot which is unusual, most places cater for coffee drinkers only! Secure parking under building. Cullen Bay is a lovely side of town, close to everything. Would stay again.

Excellent value for money, very clean and great self catering option.My partner and I stayed twice in the wet season (January) and it was a lovely start and finish to our holidays. We were placed in in 2 sister buildings on the 2 occassions and each were equally clean and well maintained inside the room. The first stay we were given a room facing the ocean toward Mindy beach which had a balcony overlooking the ocean. The second stay we were in a building 2 doors down overlooking the 3 pools at the back of the building, much nicer to face the ocean, but the pool view was good for sunset. Friendly service and would definatey stay again. Well located and quiet.

My husband and I spent 4 nights in a marina view hotel room on the top floor during the second week of March. We had stayed at Cullen Bay Apartments 9 years earlier (in the dry season) and opted for Cullen Bay again as I knew we would have that great view over the Marina and out to sea. We also wanted to avoid staying in the CBD and enjoyed a couple of thunderstorms from our balcony this time around. I was impressed with how well kept the premises is considering 9 years had gone by since our last visit! All staff during our stay were friendly and helpful. Our room was modern, bathroom slightly older but the whole room was well cleaned and everything worked - great air conditioning and fan. It is excellent to have some cutlery, crockery, wine glasses etc plus kettle, toaster, coffee plunger etc in the motel rooms. The bed was large and comfortable. Being March not all the restaurants down the road were open, but if you don't have a car, the bus stop is right outside the apartments and Darwin buses are easy to understand and get around on. The walls do seem a bit thin if your neighbours are making a bit of noise or have their TV turned up, but we only noticed this on a couple of occasions during our stay and it didn't keep us awake - may be less noticeable in the bigger apartments. The pool and spa were clean and very inviting by the afternoon! I thought it good value for money, considering how pricey Darwin can be.

Great apartments with all facilities which met the needs of our family. Clean, spacious, well maintained and located in a great spot. We enjoyed both pools and the restaurants close by were a bonus. We will definitely stay here again.
