outstanding breakfast buffet
Very good hotel in Perth - shame it's a little too far to walk to the city centre, but Perth has an excellent system of free buses that runs from the next street (red CAT).The room was very good, with all amenities you'd expect from a five star hotel. Check in was quick and easy. We had a special weekend rate (comfort package?) which included breakfast and free self-parking for only 10 dollars more or so - definitely worth it, in particular as the breakfast buffet is outstanding! Take your time and you can load up and skip lunch! We also paid a little more for a Swan River view - not sure that was worth it, as the hotel is not particularly high-rise (we were on the 5th) and doesn't really command great views (perhaps the exec floors 8 and 9 are better).

Returned again, usual standard
Returned to the Hyatt without the kids in tow for a romantic night with my wife. We purchased a package that include $99 food and beverage, which we used in Joe's Oriental Diner and room service breakfast in the morning..Normally we stay in a suite with the kids, but given it was just the two of us went for a standard room. I now appreciate how big the suites are. Nonetheless the room was very fit for purpose, it was clean, well appointed and the bed very comfortable.The only thing I didn't like in the room was the shower was in the bath - a walk in shower is so much nicer, but its very minor.Nice to see all the staff willingly give eye contact and smile. They go out of there way to make guests welcome.

Excellent place to stay
Stayed one night from the country. An excellent hotel, it has been around a long time but it doesn't show, they have really maintained the property. Our room was a standard, but we had a lovely big bed, so comfy and everything spotlessly clean. Great welcome from the moment you leave your car to booking in and we had a delightful light meal in the Conservatory. Bliss. Not expensive in relation to many hotels we have stayed at overseas. However, they do need to clearly state $20 parking if parking your own car, $35 if you want their staff to do this. Booking.com said $20 parking so that is what we thought it was. Thanks Hyatt, we recommend you to anyone for a city stay and hope to stay again.

Good room, breakfast disappointing
The room was upgraded to a suite - so very spacious. bathroom large and lots of good stuff to use, generously restocked. Nice business lounge - Regency lounge, good views.bed excellent, pillows not great. Buffet breakfast 2 days was cold - stone cold. Great taste and choice, but not worth eating cold. Third day was mother's day and queue to get to buffet breakfast - everything hot and very tasty. So you obviously need a busy day to have breakfast there. Room service steak was good - hot chips some of the best I have ever had. Creme brulee was awful - not set properly, room service staff not friendly, nor were they in the Cafe for breakfast. No disabled access to some restaurants that looked good - in fact disabled access poor to entrance of hotel unless arriving by car.

not dissappointed.
A great business hotel.Its nothing special. But they get all the basics right.Great size rooms.Attentive service.Great asian options for room service (great after the same old chicken caeser and club sandwich fare offered at most). The pad thai was divine.Holding up well for its age, has a real luxury feel to it.I will be back.(used to stay at the Crown Metropol at the casino - but one too many late night brawls in the carpark waking me up pushed me over the line)
