Budget hotel
This is a nice budget hotel in the area of Bangna(my co located in). The rooms are very clean and large. But soundproofing is poor if you have a noisy neighbour. The hotel is about 30-45 min from the international airport depend on traffice condition but you need to take a taxi/scooter to subway station and shopping mall. They provides you free wifi with high speed internet. By the way there is a very nice Massage Center(I forgot the name) near this hotel which is excellent for relaxing.

Disappointing stay
We spent two nights at the Monmanee. The staff was nice and helpful, but we unfortunately found out that the hotel was hosting a very loud large group of Chinese and it was quite difficult to sleep because the insulation amongst rooms was really poor. Moreover, the first night we were delighted by a bunch of dogs kept in a piece of land right in front of the hotel that barked almost continuously throughout the night. We would not suggest to stay there unless strictly necessary.

[maybe] Hacked my Credit Card & No Soundproofing
Clean room, but heard all of the intimate details of my neighbour's nightly activities. As if the walls were merely paper. This hotel is the only place in Thailand that I used my credit card. 3 days later, there was an bogus international charge on my credit card. Had to cancel my account and get a new card issued. Seems too coincidental.Pay cash and this place is just fine. It is located walking distance from the SkyTrain and a cheap taxi ride from the Airport. Long train ride and taxi to the most important tourist spots, though.

Very good budget hotel for a quiet stay.
It is a good hotel about 15 minute drive from main Bangkok airport. Great service, spacious and clean rooms with air-con, pretty awesome breakfast buffet. The only con is - it is far from all touristy places in the city, but close to the city mall.

Very nice, very friendly, very clean hotel
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 evenings in room 715. The hotel room was about the size of 2-3 typical US hotel rooms. Our room had folding doors that could be closed to separate the sleeping area from the main area and came with a spare bed that would have been super handy if we'd brought the kids. The bathroom was good sized with a separate bathtub and shower and decent toiletries. Everything was very clean and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. It is near(ish) to the Bearing Skytrain station but you do have to walk approximately 3-4 blocks. Overall, while this hotel is not near "attractions" it is near the airport and near enough to the skytrain to be fairly convenient and we had no problems getting around town. I do wish they'd had a pool,(I would have bumped them up to a 5 if they had) but you can't have everything, right? Their breakfast buffet which was included in the cost of the room was really, really good! I would definitely stay there again!
