Happy returnees
Once again we have had a pleasant experience at the Hexagon. This time we came with family. Three of us had a poolside Delux room and the other two couples had Delux rooms. We were all very happy with the accommodation provided. The rooms were very clean. Everything worked well and the staff were pleasant and courteous. I had requested ground floor rooms because of mobility problems of some members of our party and these were provided. We arrived near to 9pm and were able to have a meal in the restaurant. The food is reasonable if not top quality - the breakfast omelet was pretty good. There is a Chinese restaurant just around the corner.My sister booked for to stay on return from the Islands and was given a very competitive local price.Another plus for this hotel is the Supermarket next door where you can stock up with groceries if you are going to the Time share on Malolo as we were.This hotel is very good value for money and we will be back.

Very budget - get what you pay for
For the price it is what I would expect. Staff are very friendly but the food is not very good, towels seem to be in short supply and there are no blankets provided in the rooms. If you are a business traveler the working desk space is practically non-existent as well.

Avoid if you can
It is cheap (relatively) but you get what you pay for... If you can't do better, fine, but I would definitely not go back. Not clean, staff absent, food terrible... Hardly any water in the shower and certainly not hot, not towels, bathroom full of mud on arrival...

disappointed
We stayed there a year ago and had a great experience. This time we stayed overnight and were disappointed with the service we received. We had to ask for towels and the showers were a pathetic drip. So disappointed as we had a great time the year before.

You get what you pay for
I agree with the previous review. I paid about A$55 and considering we spent a grand total of 8 hours there as well as the fact that it was close to the airport and the port, Im not complaining. There was a lot of noise throughout the night from what sounded like drunks, but it didnt bother us too much. Finally, you may get marginally excited (considering the price) by the photos on the web. But rest assured, the rooms are not quite as nice:)
