not recommended for couples and family
The only positive point of this hotel is it is in Center of the city but the room is very small and full of disturbance during late night and the road is full of prostitutes outside the hotel and so lot of disturbances . But, It is near to Wat Pau and is convenient to all locations but do not take any tour packages from hotel as they are very costly .

Good location but not the best service
The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to go Khao San and other toursity spots like the WATs and Grand Palace. The other option of staying the Sukhumvit and Siam region.. Boonsiri has nice rooms. Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms but you need to just step out to light up so it isnt very inconvenient.Buses connect you to Siam and other regions and Taxis are available everywhere.There is no room service and dont expect even extra water. The service is extremely poor but I'm told most Bangkok hotels are like this. The receptionists were quite rude but we didnt need to communicate much.A lot of Europeans and Americans in the hotel so you can be safe from lingering Asians.To summarize, if you're looking only for a nice place to sleep and not too bothered about service - this is a good reccommendation.

Good Location
We stayed at the Boonsiri Place Hotel as we only had three nights in Bangkok and we wanted to be near to the Royal Palace, and within walking distance of the khao san road area, the hotel was basic but did the job, on arrival the staff were helpful, our room was clean and tidy, bathroom was ok, breakfast was not very inspiring but adequate, but good value for money ¿¿122 for a family room for three nights

Find a more lively neighborhood
The hotel is located close to sights but the neighborhood is absolutely dead in the evenings. Stay somewhere closer to the subway station (this place is really far from the BTS) such as near Siam Square. I stayed both here and at the Royal Orchid Sheraton, and the location makes such a difference for enjoying the nightlife. When I stayed at Boonsiri place, I ventured out to a bar less than five minutes away, and had to walk through dark streets several prostitutes on my way. This is not necessarily indicative of a bad neighborhood, but can certainly make people uncomfortable.Lastly, the employees here spoke very little English. I tried to ask about whether bicycle rentals were available, and they did not understand me at all. I could not rely on them to provide any kind of concierge-type information.
