Definitely not 'superior'
We stayed in room 5017. It was booked as a superior room, for 1700 Baht. The room is in serious need of cleaning and renovation. The A/C didn't work properly, the corners of the room were quite dirty, there were very old curtains, an industrial toilet and a TV in the shower! The staff were nice, the bed was comfortable and the airport shuttle was nice but the room was a disappointment.

Good location, but that's it!
If you need a hotel close to the airport this one is good as it was about 10mins taxi ride. The rooms are very dated and aren't as clean as we would have liked. We asked for a non smoking room but the floor we stayed on stunk of smoke it was horrible! There isn't much to do here, there is a pool but only 6 sun loungers! Wouldn't stay again!

Great Place near Don Muang Airport
The ambiance and quality of this hotel is excellent , we specially loved the Restaurants ( Japanese & Seafood Buffet ) absolutely outstanding and great value.The staff is very friendly and helpfull and the location is fantastic if you need to go to Don Muang Airport early in the morning. No problem to get to the city precincts.We will stay again there when next time in Bangkok.

Great Place to Stay in the Suburbs
I've stayed at the Miracle Grand for 4 weeks while working in Bangkok. The ambience and quality of the hotel is excellent. Great rooms, pool, gym and very friendly staff who are eager to please. The food is first class and is always prepared with fresh ingredients and for those who like music there is a due which plays great music every night in the ground floor restaurants and bar. Just give your request and they will sing it for you.The convention centre adjacent is always having functions on so there is lots of people milling about which makes it interesting. The only down side is that the hotel is not near shopping centres or entertainment clubs, but you can get a cab to Mo Chit BTS station for about 100 Bht. So has not been a problem heading into the city precincts. Also the hotel boasts a few good bars and good qulity Japanese and Chinese Restaurants.

Eh - annoying but not the worst
Do you love the 80s? Do you like calls from the front desk at 1:30am? Then this hotel is for you.After a long day of travel, we were excited to check in, take showers and sleep. The beds were rock hard, but we had come to expect this given our previous stays in Thai hotels. The shower was equipped with a TV from another era: box with a built-in VCR player. If only the shower head were that luxurious. Instead, the head was so rustic that it sprayed water everywhere, leaving a good gallon of water on the flor within a few minutes.There was also the most annoying sound coming from an unobservable source, which I can only imagine was a cricket farm. We called downstairs to switch rooms and once the concierge finally understood our relatively simply request, he said he'd find another room (likely requiring heroic effort given the occupancy rate of probably 3%) and come right up. He showed up 30 minutes later with a key to a room down the hall which was similar but with no noise (just a dying bug in the shower). An hour later (now 1:30am), he called the new room to make sure we were out of the original one. So necessary.
