This is for sure the last time we will stay here.
We have stayed here many times over the years but this is the last. There was no hot water and plenty of mold. They gave a room that we could not even get around the bed so they gave another room for the night with a promise they would sort it out the next day. Well they didn't until we returned and complained. The new room is OK but not what was promised.

reasonable price for location/ not too far from central london
We stayed here this weekend because we wanted to stay just out of the centre of london and we were impressed. Good customer service although it was difficult to understand the one man. Good parking facilities! we even asked to leave the car in the car park the day of a check out and they were fine about this so two nights free parking.Rooms were lovely and spacious however.....No cold water when i turned the tap on so could have a drink and the room was soooo hot! i couldnt turn the temperature down so had the windows open and it was tipping it down outside. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay and would stop again.Undergroup isnt far either, about a 5 minute walk round the corner and then about 20-25 mins to centre of london

Functional but not a 'boutique' hotel
I did not like the woodchip wallpaper that is everywhere here and the hotel is made up of several terraced houses that have been knocked together. Everything is clean, functional and does its job but there are no extras or special touches. I think the rooms are value for money but the hotel is quite conscious not to give away anything extra that would make it great value for money. The decor is quite dated. The hotel in its room guide calls itself a 'boutique hotel'. It is definitely not this but it is clean, business-like and functional.

Daughters Wedding
We held our daughters wedding reception here for both day and evening and everything was fantastic.From 1st contact to the actulal day it was brilliant.Many people commented on the food as to how good it was Many of our guests had travelled and stayed for 2 nights at the hotel and found the rates to be quite reasonable.All the staff were very good nothing was too much trouble. There is a large free secure car park which was an added bonus.

Good value and a nice garden
Only stayed for one night,enjoyed the stay.The room was quite warm but had windows which opened wide enough to cool the room. Didn't try the restaurant but did have fish,chips and mushy peas in the bar which was fine. Staff friendly and helpful.
