Quiet and peaceful
I stayed in this hotel 2 days, on my way out of Philippines. They had then a special offer at 1600 Pesos per night (including Breakfast) and at this rate it is well worthwyle, even if the rooms at promotional rates are rather small and without a window.However the bathroom was clean and well fonctionning.Conveniently situated within reach of the nightlife spots, without the inconvenience of the noise associated to the nightlife areas

average hotel for extended stay
We stayed at this hotel when we had our practicum in Jose Reyes Medical Center 3 years ago. We stayed for almost a month and I could say that they have an average and good accommodation for guests especially they are catering more than a hundred nursing students that time. They have comfortable beds, nice lighting, average breakfast. In terms of hotel amenities swimming pool on the rooftop was under renovated that time so we were not able to take advantage on that. They also have a laundry shop nearby and resto. In terms of location, It is close to Robinson's Ermita, LRT station, Manila Doctor's Hospital..it is right infront of Paco Park wherein our National Hero Jose Rizal was buried. The only thing since there's a very old cemetery nearby..some of my classmates and professor had horrible experience with the ghost roaming around the rooms. Its true!

Needs refurbishing
The view from the canopied walk leading to the hotel looked appealing and inviting. It shows a lobby that appeared like a courtyard with a charming fountain. The front desk personnel led us to the stairway where the guest rooms could be found. It is sad that the hotel didn't look apt to today's standards on modern day amenities. The big function room on the ground floor looked festive with all the trimmings for a wedding reception. It had the right ambiance for the occasion. Over all, the soft lights, the vantage view of the fountain with its rustling waters and the attractive floral arrangement contributed to add drama and romance to the celebration. I still find the place appropriate for an indoor garden wedding but not for an overnight stay.

Never Again
I don't want to stay here again... the bath tub isn't nice..seems like it's used for horror movies...some staff aren't that nice..we didn't check-in in the hotel but their restaurant were paid by us.!and we can't use their restrooms.???OMG.!!!

Average two star
This hotel has a good location for the USA Embassy. It is not in the best of neighborhoods if there is such a thing in Manila. The staff at Garden Plaza were friendly and helpful enough. The room was average but there is only poor, pay for Internet in the 2nd floor lobby. There is a good Swiss Inn restaurant and also a nightclub attached to the lobby. In general it's an OK place if you HAVE to be in broken down Manila near the Embassy.
