Best airport service from a hotel
Good clean rooms / friendly service / great price. This hotel is hard to beat if you are traveling overseas and need to stop over for the night. Pick up and drop of at the airport / car storage for the time away/ organizing city transport and all with a smile. Made the trip really stress free. Would not recommend this hotel for a long holiday but for what it was designed for it does well.

Well run airport hotel
A slickly run, busy hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and a shuttle to the airport.It's not where you want to spend a holiday, the hotel is there for overnight stops on arrival or departure, with some short conference facilities. It is in an unattractive setting with a truck depot on one side and housing on the other with a large secure carpark. The hotel itself is pleasant if a little tired.I have eaten dinner in the restaurant several times. The food is very good -better than it needs to be given the setting and service level. The staff are always efficient and courteous and the housekeeping standard is very good.In my experience all airport hotels can be noisy with frequent arrivals etc in the middle of the night and early departure times. I have consistently found in this hotel that the buffer between rooms is good but the doors to the corridor are not. I agree with previous comments that large tour groups banging around and talking in the hallway is very loud and has woken me up. I now request a room at the farthest end of the corridor which helps.I found the buffet breakfast well below average for a New Zealand hotel. Really bad coffee and no staff to order anything else. The hot selection is not well cooked - flabby cold bacon, unbrowned sausages, the only eggs are scrambled (and are those strange scrambled eggs with a texture only found in buffet breakfasts) the mushrooms are in an oily looking creamy sauce which was dripped all through the adjacent beans. Not great and a surprise after the high standard at dinner the night before. I would have asked for hot bacon but when everything is so below par it isn't worth the trouble.Having said all that, I travel a lot and will continue to stay here, I'll just have breakfast in the airport.

Excellent value
I had cause to stay at the Jet Park twice over April & found the quality of the rooms, service & food to be excellent.The location was perfect for my meetings.My only grizzle is the the way they stagger seating/booking times in the restaurant to prevent pressure on kitchen staff. I am more than happy to enjoy a wine at the table if I have been informed there will be a delay in receiving my meal.

Great service let down by poor building
I stayed one night ahead of a long flight leaving at 6.00am. The staff were great and the room was comfortable. The wake-up call was reliable. I appreciated the free parking and the shuttle bus driver was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I didn't get much sleep. The windows effectively blocked outside noise, but the plumbing noises within the building were particularly bad. I seemed to hear every shower along the whole wing but I could also hear the conversation of the people in the room next door who arrived around midnight. It would be a good idea if folk on early flights didn't get booked into rooms alongside those arriving late - where possible.

We can't fault this property.
We have stayed at the Jet Inn many times and each time we have enjoyed the hopitality.The rooms are more than adequate, the toileteries are top of the range, free wifi in the rooms flat screen TVs ,an award winning restaurant,we always book a few weeks in advance and request a ground floor room saves the hassel of the lifts etc. If you are travelling with children it is best to book an early dinner as the restaurant can get very busy the wait can be tedious for children. Good childrens menu.We appreciate the courtesy of the staff. The shuttle service to and from the airport is the gem which brings us back again and again.
