Couldn't fault it.
We recently celebrated my mum's 80th birthday by travelling to London to take in a show and do a little sightseeing and shopping. We booked two twin rooms for two nights via Olotel.com and the price included continental breakfast. When we checked in we were told that we had been upgraded to executive twins adjacent to each other. The two rooms were located on a little side corridoor on the first floor which had it's own door - this meant we when we were in our rooms could close that door and leave our bedroom doors open, creating a private 2 bedroom unit. The rooms were to the back of the hotel and were very quiet. They were spotlessly clean beautifully furnished and the ensuites were well fitted out. The beds were sooooo comfy and unless you specify otherwise the bedding and towels are changed every day. Each room had it's own a/c unit which was quiet enough to be left on all night to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. There are safes provided in the wardrobes and are worked via your debit card and were free of charge. Breakfast was not extensive but perfectly adequate and tasty. There was a variety of cereals, pastries, cheese and cold meats, fruit salads, yoghurts and fruit juices. A full english was available for an additional ¿¿6. On the day of our mum's birthday, we asked reception if we could put up some bunting in the room and they offered to do it for us while we were out . They also left a beautiful basket of fruit in her room as an added treat. The hotel itself is a elegant building with gorgeous mahogany panelling, beautifully maintained period features and incredible see-through glass elevators with gleaming brass trimings. The period features continue In the bedrooms, e.g. sash windows and detailed cornices on the ceiling. I read through the reviews on Trip-Advisor before making the booking, and although most were positive some were very negative so I was a little aprehensive. However, I'm glad I did choose the Grange Fitzrovia and I cannot praise the friendly and helpful staff enough. I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again next time I'm in London.

Nice Nice.
Good location, nice neighborhood.the staff are SUPER helpful. Edina went out of her way to help me find some nighttime activities. What an asset! Check out Nandos across the road for cheap, good eats. I'd stay again.

Comfortable and well located
I stay here frequently and it has become my second home. The hotel is comfortable, clean and friendly, if a little dated and traditional in design terms. Rooms are generally good, although can get very warm and floorboards creak. The staff are very friendly, in particular Victor in the bar and Cecilio/Edina at breakfast and food is generally good, although the evening menu is again rather limited and traditional.

Good location
Rooms where of good size and clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows.Missed free WiFi, paying 5¿¿ for an hour is not only expensive but rather surprisingly in 2013.Friendly staff even though the reception questioned whether we were guests of the hotel or not while waiting down in the lobby for our room to be cleaned.Location was very good, about 10 min walk to Oxford Street and tube station (Great Portland Street) is very close.Would consider staying here in the future, the pro's weigh over the con's.

Small and quiet hotel in West-End
The hotel has a nice lobby and good and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast, custom made toast (sometimes cremated, but it is the thought that counts). Very nice restaurant opposite the street, Villandry, providing also good value for money.
