Nice Hotel, Great Location
We stayed here for 4 nights, room was clean and spacious (as a typical hotel room in Japan is relatively small). Great location, excellent staffs, they were very polite and helpful AND THOUGHTFUL!! One of the staffs helped us made a dinner reservation at a local restaurant, printed out the maps (which we didn't ask for) and did her very best in explaining the direction to get there. There's a bakery near the lobby, easy access to 24/7 convenient stores, plenty of dining options within a 5-minute-walk. LUMINE is located next to JR station that's minutes away, you can always go for a last-minute shopping spree before departing to the airport!!

Great Hotel, Perfect Base For Exploring Tokyo
We used this hotel as a base for exploring Tokyo as first-time visitors. Rooms were clean and very comfortable, staff helpful and courteous, and its location is perfect for getting around the area. The train station is a pleasant five minute walk away. There is a bus directly to the hotel from Haneda Airport. Our room was on the 16th floor and the view, whilst impressive during the day was spectacular at night. Hotel rooms in Tokyo are notoriously small but ours was perfectly adequate -we were out most of the time making the most of our short stay, The staff on the desk provided us with maps of the area and metro subway system. There are lots of shops, restaurants, bars, department stores etc. a short stroll away. Ikebukuro is a lively area, and is well located for trips to Shibuya etc or further afield on the JR lines. Complimentary paper in the mornings and great kettle that kept water hot were unexpected bonuses. If you're looking for a place to stay in Tokyo in this price range, you can't go wrong with this hotel. There are plenty of good cafes that do breakfast nearby if you are on a budget, like we were, and don't want breakfast included. We didn't try it but the breakfast and meals in the hotel restaraunt looked very good.

A reasonable hotel
We stayed in this hotel in Tokyo for 2 nights. The location is very good, close to Ibebukuro station which was easy to access from central Tokyo. We had booked a non smoking room but were given a smoking room and were unable to change, we were told, because there were no non smoking rooms left. The room didn't smell of smoke but the whole floor did and was pretty unpleasant. We booked this hotel because it had a gym but when we arrived we were told we had to pay quite a lot extra to use it. However, the room was clean and the bathroom was sufficient for a city break. There is an excellent piano bar on the top floor with great staff and really excellent restaurants in the surrounding area.

Couldn't ask for better location
We went to Tokyo during golden week so hotel prices and options were limited. I picked this hotel based on our budget and was pleasantly surprised! It was extremely convenient to train and other major train lines and the food and bar options were great. Went to two great resturants close to hotel that were excellent and places were really friendly. After being turned away frm bars in both roppongi and golden gai for being tourists we found great little places in our neighborhood that were happy to have our business. The whole area was much more down to earth and friendly then other areas. The hotel itself was basic but bigger then other rooms we stayed in Japan. Hotel staff was not overly helpful but spoke English enough to get by. Overall this location ended up being a great option!
