Could not be more comfortable or relaxed!
Although check-in was at 3pm, when we arrived at 4pm our room was still not available. So we were given two drink vouchers and went to the hotel bar....

Although check-in was at 3pm, when we arrived at 4pm our room was still not available. So we were given two drink vouchers and went to the hotel bar. We were greeted by a friendly bartender, Alvaro! He was knowledgeable about the area and was easy to talk to. Before we knew, it our room was ready but we were having such a good time at the bar speaking with Alavro we ended up staying for two more drinks! He was very welcoming and made us feel relaxed...the point of our trip! Will definitely be returning to this Westin!

Close to I-95 for easy access to Fort Lauderdale
Consistent is the best way to describe this property....I have stayed here many times for business and always enjoy it...Professional staff, courteous and restaurant, small bar, etc...on premise...Road noise at night from I-95 if room faces that direction can be a little loud but free parking is a benefit. Restaurant is good but a but overpriced, but expected...... Small bathrooms but room size is large and beds are very comfortable.

A short stay before a cruise
We had the usual kind of stressful flight, nine hours from UK to Miami and then a 'magical mystery tour' on a coach. So when we arrived at this hotel it was like a much needed oasis. The room was really comfortable with all the facilities we needed. An extremely comfortable bed and sparklingly clean and well equipped bathroom. The reception staff were efficient and helpful, unlike the Holland America Line representatives. It has to be said that when we went out to find something to eat the options were few. We had our evening meal in the barbeque shack on the 62nd Street and that was surprisingly good and inexpensive. It proved impossible to get a drink anywhere though. In the morning we had breakfast at Duffy's in Pinecrest Square and that was really good and excellent value. Moving on to the port at Fort Lauderdale took another 30 minutes on a coach. I would book here again.

Very comfortable
Very nice hotel near I95. Great bed that was so comfortable. Greeting at check-in was friendly and accommodating. Large room with Starbucks coffee available. Room service was timely and good food. Enjoyed my night here.

Works well for us
I stay here frequently when visiting family. The location works well for me but not centrally located to much. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are indeed heavenly and the bathrooms small but efficient.It has a wonderful pool area which is enjoyable but in need of a good scrubbing. The workout room is nearby and adequate.In the summer many of the rooms are used by " overnight "camps" but, the kids are kept on separate floors so it has not been a real problem for me.I would recommend this hotel for someone needed a comfortable place to stay in this area of Pompano/Ft. Lauderdale.
