terrible breakfast
We stayed here for NYE night because this was the cheapest option ($90) from the overprices Las Vegas hotels We were quite happy with our room, it was clean and smelled good. I actually fancied the antique style. The bad thing was that the walls were so thin we could actually understand what people are talking next room.It really disturbed our sleep. The bad review comes mostly from the breakfast which was really terrible. The juice was like colored water. Everybody who tried it just poured it directly to sink. Worse was that the the milk was spoiled which I never experienced in a hotel before. Beside there was almost nothing to eat, no fruit or yogurt. Just jam and bread.

Avoid this place at all costs-an eyesore in lovely Boulder City
Local review: thought I had reviewed this place when I stayed here for work back in March.....guess I didn't. I don't give really bad reviews often, but I feel I owe it to travelers to warn them: AVOID AT ALL COSTS.The building and the rooms are really old, filthy and not worth what they charge. I've had to stay here twice, for 5 days at a time and each time the rooms were unclean, worn and uncomfortable (my business paid for it, not me or I wouldn't have ever come here). The standard rooms have a 1950's feel and the furniture seems like it has not been replaced since then. The curtains are dirty, old fashioned and often won't close all the way. Carpets-dirty. Bathrooms-old, worn. I can't believe this place stays in business but I suppose with all the unsuspecting visitors not knowing what they're getting into they're able to stay afloat. If they charged $20 a night, I'd say it might be worth just that. There's also sketchy people staying in the extended stay motels across the street, coming and going and wandering the streets all hours of the night (avoid those, too). So I'm letting you all know, as a local, do not come here unless of course you like being over-charged for a worn, torn un-cared for motel. This ranks right up there with one of the worst places I've stayed. Heed the reviews, fellow travelers.

Horrible experience!!
I've been visiting Lake Mead and Boulder City for decades and have consistently stayed at my "usual" hotels in the area. When a last minute lake trip came up and I went to book at my usual place, they were all booked up. After hunting around, I came across the Boulder Inn and Suites. Desperate, I just booked the room and didn't research. (bad idea) We arrived on a friday afternoon and it took about 45 minutes to get checked in. The girl running the front desk was OBVIOUSLY high as a kite and while scratching her already open sores, she slowly checked everyone in. While I was waiting with about 10 other people, the Manager Bret emerged from the back, swiftly asked the girl if she had everything under control (to which she replied 'Ummmmm??") and was about to leave. I asked if he was the manager and he said Yes. I said "Don't you think instead of leaving this girl with almost a dozen people in the lobby, you should maybe help?" to which he replied "Sorry MISS! I have been here since 4:00am and I have two properties to run! TWO! So I really don't care about what you think I should be doing." Wow! I would have walked out right there but it was getting late and I had two tired kids. I let it go, checked in, and went to my room. This "NON-SMOKING room" smelled like someone had smoked 2 packs a day in it for the past 2 years! I didn't let my kids take their shoes off or touch ANYTHING. You could SEE the layer of dirt on everything. I went to take a quick shower and found a huge amount of pubic hair layering the inside of the shower curtain. That was it!!! I took my kids and hubby and we slept in our boat that was parked in the parking lot. At least I knew that was clean! My husband couldn't sleep so he watched the happenings of this lovely place through the night, including the front desk girl having her drug dealer make a drop for her. This place needs to burn down. It is not worth any amount of money to stay there. Staff is rude and inconsiderate and the place itself is disgusting! Don't let their cute pictures of their "themed rooms" fool you. Those are equally as filthy. Oh and a few more things... A/C didn't work and their indoor pool is GREEN.

Worst hotel in the U.S.
My family and i need to stay for a week. We got put into the travelers mojave which is part of this hotel. It had a room with a second bed and a small fridge and a hot plate. The swamp cooler doesnt reach that room. The light and smoke detector were barely hanging from the ceiling. The shower had a huge hole by the shower head. And then we see ants all over the fridge. We called the office and they used raid. An hour later the ants were back. They moved us to another room and the ants are worse. They are even in the beds. The office wont move us to the regular hotel unless we pay an extra 400.00. Which we dont have. My kids arent allowed to use the pool cause we are in the wrong part of the hotel. Now we are stuck in this hell for 3 more days cause they refuse to move us or refund us our money. Whats worse is i just got out of the military after serving this country and they said they cant do anything for military. This hotel is the perfect example of a roach motel and a military hating establishment.
