A good stay overall.
I went to Sydney to visit a friend. I was coming from Brisbane and I was looking for an accommodation on the Rock. I choose the Swiss-Belhotel because of its location, the rates per night, and the ranking online.I must say it was a good stay overall. I was on the 9th floor so it wasn't that noisy for an accommodation located in the CBD.Even if the room wasn't a refurbished one, I can't complain as the equipment was working well, because the room was clean and the bed comfy.The reception was set up as a normal hotel reception so they can organise a taxi to the airport for example, or a phone call to wake you up in the morning. And when I came back at night, my bed was done, towel changed and room cleanness checked.I would recommend this hotel.

Great Apartment Hotel
We stayed here with family a couple of times and always liked the place where this hotel was. Close to the Opera House and Darling Harbour, this place is a true vacation residence. With all amenities as needed its a complete package.

Fab for families
We have just returned from our 3 night stay with our 3 kids (10, 8 &15 mths) at The York. It was fabulous! We booked the 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom DELUXE apartment and I just can't fault it. It was very spacious, had a great kitchen and living area, huge master bedroom and bathroom and the kids room was great also. We had a portacot for our baby and this was provided free of charge in addition to a high chair. The staff at the front desk were wonderful when asking for directions/maps etc and the kids loved the heated pool and spa. I use trip Advisor for all my hotel research wherever we go and must admit I was a bit nervous booking the York after reading some negative reviews. I can honestly say, those who give negative reviews about the poor state of the apartments, dirty carpet, whatever, have obviously booked the older, unrenovated apartments and the staff will tell you this if you check first. If you book a deluxe or executive apartment you can't go wrong, they are fantastic, particularly for families or those who require kitchen facilities.We loved our stay here and will definately be back next time and have no hesitation in recommending to others as the location is excellent. We paid $300 per night for our stay through booking.com - well worth it and great value in my opinion.

Fantastic Hotel - best location, spectacular views
Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was extremely clean, roomy with great city and a bit of water views from the huge balcony. Great facilities including the awesome spa, swimming pool and state of the art gym.It's location meant we never had to catch a taxi - close to circular quay (5min walk), the bridge(10min walk), maritime museum and the main strip for shopping. Highly recommend it if visiting Sydney particularly the Circular Quay area.

Great location
These apartments were fabulous. First, they gave you the newspaper free of charge every morning, second there were robes free of charge, third Wi-Fi in the lobby and business center free of charge, and fourth this location can't be beat. It's a 5 minute walk to circular quay, it's 10 minutes to the major shopping area, and its about 2 minutes to the train station and a grocery store. The apartments come with washer/ dryer which was much needed and we were able to save money by going to the store and cooking our own dinners. The staff was great, confirming tours and transfers for us and they gave us the name of a men's store to buy nice slacks to go to the ballet. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
