WE stayed for the Tim McGraw/ Brantley Gilbert concert this past Memorial Day weekend (Sun-Mon). We assumed there would be noise from the guests due to a concert/ drinking/ partying and that wasn't the case at all! My only cmplaints are we were on the 2nd floor right next to a METAL staircase. We were back in room at midnight ready for bed. Allllllll night long we heard boots/ heels coming up and down the staircase. I finally fell asleep around 2/3 am. Around 5 am, there was an extremely loud alarm going off in the hall outside our door. I looked out-no smoke, called the front desk and they said it was hot water heater pressure valve alarm. This continued off and on a good 40 minutes. Upon checkout, I mentioned to the manager who was checking us out and we received a subway giftcard-so they did try and give some credit as apology which is great. Overall-hotel was clean, friendly, comfortable, breakfast had nice selections, and I would probably stay again-but ask not near that staircase because I was EXHAUSTED and couldn't sleep through that noise! I came home and slept for hours, which you shouldn't have to do after staying overnight in a Hotel.

I know this hotel is dated, however room semi-clean, laminate on desk falling apart. Worst of all was fire alarm going off multiple times from 12-200am (per front desk this was by people staying at hotel) then fire alarm going off again at 6am, along with the discovery of brown mucky water (?) in the toilet and noise from plumbing being worked on and the fire alarm continued to go off. This time fire alarm was going off due to issue with the steam room. So of course myself and my eight year old daughter got about 4 hours of sleep. Only stayed here because we were went to a concert at Darien Lake. Would never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

We stayed for one night but never again. Our room was damp and smelled very musty. Could not wait to leave, to be honest. Good location for the theme park and a nice Denny's across the road. Try Batavia if you don't mind driving a bit further. Sorry folks. Not a good spot.

It's the little things that make a difference. Stayed 1 night.The room was clean and no bed bugs. I'm squeamish and the bed is the first place I check. After reading some of the reviews , I was slightly wary. But the room was in good shape. Staff were friendly and approachable. We told the manager we had our bicycles with us so she put us in a room right beside the entrance and gave us options on securing the bikes. Perhaps a little thing but that consideration was reassuring to us. We opted for breakfast across the street at Denny's in the morning as we wanted a bigger meal; we were going to cycle again that day. However the coffee from the lounge was good and they provided a non-dairy creamer which is great for my lactose intolerance (Denny's doesn't have this). For people with any kind of dietary restrictions, these little things are important. I had forgotten to pack my soy milk and I like/love my coffee.Central to two areas we wanted to see; Darien Lake State Park and the Iroquois Wildlife refuge. Overall, a comfortable inexpensive night's sleep. We would stay here again in future.
