Great Hotel!
Spacious and clean rooms. Great service and helpful staff eagerly going out their way to address your concerns. Our group stayed for 3 nights in this hotel last March. Rooms are well stocked with supplies like coffee maker. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel surroundings have Cherry Blossom trees where we are in time for its blooming. Great to stroll around the areas of the hotel and along the river. Beautiful sight indeed. Hotel has regular complimentary shuttle service to the Osaka and Shin Osaka train stations. Spacious lobby. Courteous counter staff. Buffet Breakfast though is just okay and nothing special.

Great, Gorgeous, Grand Hotel
My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in Early April this year as members of a conducted tour group. Our 16th floor room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable too. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked with all the necessary toiletries for a couple. There was a tea/coffee maker with plenty of complimentary tea / coffee sachets. Despite a strong language barrier, the hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. There are 6 high speed lifts at the hotel to serve the guests and the waiting time for a lift is therefore negligible. The ground floor Flying tomato restaurant that served buffet breakfast had a wonderful location & ambience. One could see lush green surrounding with cherries in full blossom, the side walk and Okawa river beyond, through huge glass paneling. Food selection and quality of buffet breakfast was wide and great. This hotel is situated on the bank of river Okawa and has a great river walk. Cherries were in full blossom on both sides of the river walk when we were there and it was a wonderful experience to be in their midst on a cool and crisp spring morning. My only complaint is why should this hotel charge a whopping 3,000 Yens (over US$ 30) for use of swimming pool when universally all the great hotels provide complimentary use of their swimming pools. I only wish we get another chance to visit Osaka just to stay in this hotel for a few days.

Excellent hotel
We stayed here on April 3, the last day of a post cruise tour.We had a wonderful overnight stay.We were on the 14th floor and had a great view overlooking the river.Our room was a nice size,very clean and the bed was comfortable,and also had a coffee/tea maker.Enjoyed a very nice walk along the river in the evening. The Flying Tomato restaurant had a good selection for the breakfast buffet. Given the opportunity we would stay here again.

High end hotel
Grand hotel, nice room, good sized. No ironing board if that's important to you. Very nice restaurants and about a dozen upscale shops in the lower level. Very clean. If you're looking for a coffee/Starbucks etc outside the hotel there's really nothing close by, was told it was about a 10 minute walk. Good breakfast buffet but relatively small selection.Would definitely stay here again.

Impressively Elegant Hotel in Osaka
I was fortunate to visit Japan after so many years. I checked into this hotel last early March and spent 3 nights there. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood and there are no shopping areas or restaurants nearby. But the hotel is grand and elegant. The lobby is sublime and especially the flower centerpiece. Its beautifully made by a Japanese artist. I think it changes according to season. The hotel rooms are huge for japan standards. I got a view facing the river and i enjoyed it looking out every morning because of the sunrise. I also saw some boat rowers. They were swift and strong. I was disappointed when i was told by the hotel that the usage of the pool and gym areas requires a fee. Probably that is the Japan's norm for these facilities. Anyway, as for the daily breakfast, i was not impressed too. The flying tomato restaurant where they hold their breakfasts, offered not so many choices. Shangri-la hotels and Marco Polo hotels serve better breakfast. They should try to improve on this.So overall, I would say that this is a business hotel and not a hotel for family vacation. Subway is far from this hotel. I never had the chance to ride it from this hotel though. I could be wrong.Thank you for reading. God is good all the time!
