Great place, great view, bit expensive
Stayed 3 nights with a harbour view room - very nice room, great view, very convenient. Staff very helpful except they didn't find the book we left behind! Expensive room - top floor, very spacious. Sheets not as smooth as we'd have liked for the price. Great facilities and very friendly staff.

Very happy with customer service
The free up grade was very good, the customer service was excellent, I would recommend this Hotel just because the customer service and the room service and the staff helping me to take my bags to the etc etc.

Very bad office practices on account
We walked in off the street at 2am after plane delays and were offered the last room for the night. Big room comfy bed air conditioning and strong shower. That's all we needed for a few hours rest. However ... I have spent the last 5 days (while overseas on holidays) attempting to get the security deposit they held on our bank account released as well as an admin error of another nights accommodation and additional security held as well. After numerous emails and messages through their Facebook page (which were promptly deleted and I was blocked from their page), this morning we have had a response that it s normal practice in their hotels to do this. Very disappointing. THere should at least be cups available to make coffee in room, had everything else to make except cup and spoon. Had no hooks on back of door in bathroom to hang clothes or towels.

Don't stay here!
Even for Darwin this place is poor quality and too expensive. The rooms while not bad aren't special, the bathrooms are average and the view is obstructed by terrible window boxes. If you like balconies and a good nights sleep, stay anywhere else. The air conditioner makes more noise than sleeping under the flight path and it does this every 15 minutes while still not ever being cold enough. There is no way I would ever stay here again and suggest you don't either. The worst Novotel I've ever stayed in and easily twice the price of what it should of been.

The end of our great NT adventure.
Extremely professional staff at reception. Have only big wraps for Staff leader Deidrie. Handles unfortunate problems well.Room and Pool area well presented.Atrium area is very relaxing with well appointed furnishings.
