Luckily my work paid for it

Not big on bagging things in a review but let's start, very cramped room, ok it's cheap, curtains wouldn't close properly making it hard to sleep, I swear it sounded like every time someone above, below or next to me flushed their toilet they were using mine,very noisy. I will be making sure I avoid it in the future.

Small, cheap and great location

Stayed here one night, and it was great for our purposes. Took the AirportLink train to the Museum stop and then walked about 5 minutes to the Park Regis where we dropped off our bags and then went out and about until returning around 9:30pm. Hotel upgraded our bed to a king I believe, which was nice. Also, the staff at the reception desk were very friendly. So here's the deal with the hotel room: it's small, with the bed taking up most of the room. Bathroom is small too, and there is only a curtain separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom (no tub). So it's not a great place to hang out. But if, like us, all you're looking for is a relatively cheap place to sleep and keep your stuff while you're out exploring the city, it's a good deal.

value for money, very good for overnight stays

The location of this hotel is perfect. it's just 2 blocks away from Town Hall station and a block away from Woolies that is open till 12 a.m. Meals can be purchased from the surrounding cafes and restaurants (there is an abundance of them). The monorails is just a few metres away. For tourists, Darling Harbour and attractions like Wildlife World, Sydney Aquarium and Madam Tussaud is just an easy 10 minute walk. The Queen Victoria Building is just a stone's throw away. I cannot emphasize how accessible this hotel is to tourist spots, restaurants and shopping centres.We got a voucher from Our Deal for a twin room and we had a pleasant stay. Check-in was a breeze. Reception staff were very friendly and available 24 hours a day which is a plus. The beds were nice and soft. We had a good night's sleep. The room and bathroom were clean but small. They looked a little bigger from the photos on the hotel website. there were plenty of tea and coffee and a bar fridge in the room was convenient. An ironing board and hair dryer were available which was good. There were dispensers for lotion, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner fixed to the wall. We had almost everything that we needed.Our only complaint was that the walls were thin and we could hear people talking in the hallway and from the next room. My mum had been jolted several times in her sleep because she could hear doors closing. Would consider staying here again.

Great location - Hotel needs work.

We stayed here for three nights. It was supposed to include breakfast but that was sort of a joke, breakfast was a box of rock hard granola bars, yogurt and juice, not really a great start to your day. At first glance the room seems very nice. The bed was comfortable and there was a fridge and coffee maker which is always nice. Actually our view was pretty nice too. There is a nice roof top pool and a viewing deck with a great view. There are laundry facilities here as well. Upon closer room inspection you discover there is no bathtub, just a shower, a mouldy disgusting one at that. There was ceiling mould, shower mould, mould on the air vents in the room, etc. Really gross. We asked them to come up and give them a clean... but that never happened. As well there is no vanity in the bathroom so you have no where to put your toiletries other than the floor. Very awkward. That being said, the location is the BEST! It is right in the heart of the city, steps from just about everything. Both routes of the Hop On Hop Off sight seeing bus stop within the block of the hotel. It is close to transportation, restaurants, shopping, a quick walk to the harbour and steps again to the free harbour shuttle. The location is the saving grace for this hotel.If we stayed here again, it would be because of the location.
