Old Charm
What I enjoyed about this hotel is the comfortable size of the room and a bed which provides a good nights rest. The location of the hotel is an added bonus with easy reach to food, drinks and shopping without leaving the comfort of air-conditioning, a must in this tropic island nation.

A really excellent experience
We stayed here for a long weekend so wanted a hotel with a convenient location and service that would make our stay easy and enjoyable. We were in no way disappointed. We checked in very late at night but the process was made extremely easy and the staff were welcoming. They were also helpful in suggesting places to visit and helped us avoid the queues at Resort World Sentosa by booking our tickets for us. Our room was on the second floor and was huge. The room overlooks the main road but there was no noise at all. The bed was enormous and comfortable and the room had just about everything you'd want. We also had the breakfast package, while at $25 is quite pricey, it is well worth it with a huge selection and excellent fresh juices. The pool area is good with a snack bar, dressing room and comfortable sun loungers. It was also never too busy during our stay.I read some comments that suggested the hotel was in need of a revamp however the hotel is immaculately clean and I found the charm of this building and the rooms to outweigh any minor flaws. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this hotel.

Good location hotel with great service
The hotel is located just beside a big shopping mall with many shops and food eateries, an ideal location for my family. The hotel provides good service and house keeping. Service was prompt and rooms are very clean. Location is perfect, near CBD area, MRT (underground from the mall).

worth a visit
Second stay here and not disappointed. Stayed in a standard room, but very comfortable and spacious. Lovely toiletries in bathroom, could not fault cleaning service. Staff all very efficient and pleasant. Hotel is in a very good location, from there I walked all over Singapore while my husband was in business meetings. But for the less energetic it is close to an MRT station.Our only little negative would be that for the size of the hotel, the pool is quite small. During the week it was ok, but come Friday afternoon, when families obviously arrived for the weekend, there was pool overload. But not a major problem. And it would help if guests would take towels off the sunbed when they leave the pool, leaving them on the beds means that other guests don't know whether those beds are in use or free.We would advise taking the breakfast inclusive rate, it is good value.
