Superb Location - Wonderful Hotel
We stayed here for 5 days on our way to Bali. On arrival we requested a room on a high floor, they upgraded us to room 604, with a view across the river - Fanbloodytastic ! Wonderful hotel, staff extremely helpful, food very good, Breakfast - every thing under the sun is laid out. We have never been to Singapore before so requesting help at the desk they advised us to purchase a Hop on & Off Bus ticket. We took their advise and bought a 48 hours pass, to do this walk out of the hotel, turn left, cross the bridge and the bus stop is outside the MIramar hotel. Hop on a bus and buy your ticket. Don't forget to pick up the very useful maps once on the bus. This was the best thing we ever did, there are 3 routes to take, yellow, red & historic, we did them all & saw so much. There are so many must see places, one of them is the Botanical Gardens, inside is The Orchid Garden - a stunning place. Another must is Raffles and have a Singapore Sling in the Long room. Go on the Singapore flyer and be amazed at The Marina Sands hotel, the Theatres that look like hedgehogs and look down on the start of the F1 Grand Prix track. The marina Sands hotel puts on a laser show approx 8.00pm, we watched this from our room. You don't need a taxi to go to the Quay's.They are approx 15 easy minutes walking, even in flip flops ! Many places to eat & drink along the way. Go, stay and enjoy. PS. When you get to the Fullerton Hotel ( Old Colonial place) just in front of the hotel have a look at the beautiful sculpture of 5 boys jumping into the river.

Outstanding stay
Stayed on April 4th for one night while in transit returning to the U.S. from a job overseas. Very much enjoyed the time there. I can't say enough good things about the buffet; the room or service people. I hope I get to stay there again. Simpley outstanding!

Grand Copthorne - like a 2nd home
Was indeed a good and very pleasant stay over there.Have enjoy it and will not think twice to go there again if I will have the chance to.Have had a long stay there because of work and have seen other people and had other colleagues that have decided to go and stay at this location.Excellent gym and a very good cuisine.Friendly stuff and very helpful.

Great hotel with grat view
We stayed for 2 nights last April. The room was very spacious, very clean, the bed was big and comfortable. The view from our room was great, we could see the Marina Bay Sands building, nice skyline of Singapore city & a beautiful river view. Breakfast was good, there's many food selection.The location is quite good, the hotel is located next to Zouk (apparently a famous night club in Singapore), there's a shopping mall nearby (5-10mins walking) and 15-20mins walk to Clarke Quay area.There's free shuttle service from the hotel to some area but didn't get the chance to try it though.

Excellent as expected
I have stayed a six Millennium hotels around the world now and as usual the Grand Copthorne has lived up to all my expectations .We always stay on the exec business floors, deffinately worth the extra cash!. excellent room. view.service.Free shuttle buss into out of town all day,late checkout.club lounge facilities second to none.smooth efficient check in and out. allowed to use the lounge facilities as long as we wished awaiting an evening flight out.What more can one say. I'll be back soon .
