Wonderful Seattle get away
We stayed at the Monaco the weekend of May 10th. We love Kimpton hotels because the let us bring Sushi our Boxer Lab mix. The hotel is a wonderfully renovated hotel central to everything. The remodel was done in a quasi deco style and everything blends perfectly. The staff goes beyond the bar to make you feel welcome and at home. They treated Sushi like one of the family. I love Kimpton and I love this place.

Superb Service and Plush Rooms
Not only is this hotel located centrally in downtown Seattle, the rooms were impeccably appointed and service was outstanding. Plush modern rooms with ample space - spacious for family of 4. Walking distance to all that downtown Seattle has to offer.

A perfect Kimpton stay, as ever
This is a perfect example of a Kimpton. The room was reasonably priced, huge, well appointed and very clean. Super friendly and super efficient staff. Everything worked and was on time. My go to choice in Seattle from here on in. I have recently stayed in other Kimptons where it all seemed to have gone slightly wrong but this stay reaffirmed my loyalty to the boutique chain. Well done Hotel Monaco Seattle.

Good, friendly hotel in the Financial District
Stayed five nights on business.I had a pleasant introduction to the the Hotel Monaco as I arrived during the evening drinks reception. Lots of people having a glass of wine and a chat as a guitarist played and sang in the corner. A nice, convivial atmosphere into which to arrive. The reception staff were friendly and competent and check-in formalities were completed promptly.I was a little surprised at the size of my room; very much on the small side for US hotel accommodation, though those used to European hotels won't find much to complain about. It was nicely decorated with some designer-ish flourishes and perfectly clean. The room was situated near the elevator bank and as a result I was treated to a sound resembling wind blowing through trees in a storm for the duration of my stay. It wasn't likely to disturb my sleep, so I didn't think it worthy of mentioning to the staff, but I can imagine that very light sleepers might find it an issue.The location is good business travellers, but that said, the Monaco is central and approximately fifteen minutes walk from both Pioneer Square and the Markets and is therefore handy for exploring if you have the time. The hotel is on my company's approved list for Seattle and I'll be quite happy to stay on my next trip.
