Perfect Choise
I have to say we were in Rome in March during the pope's incarnation and it was impossible to think of a location in the heart of the city so we decided to go for this hotel and indeed it was a perfect choise. Although it's true it's a bit far off, we found no problem going in and out of town via the bus across the street. It might take about 45 min to one hour getting to Rome so you might have to start your day earlier however later on we came to a certanity that Eurostars was indeed the best choise for us since we re not the kind to go for small hotels, sometimes appartments that tend to lack the proper managment, cleanliness or any other proper hotel measures and Rome are filled with those in the more better locations. Our room was spacious, clean sharp, great bathroom and modern furnishing. Around the area of the hotel was really amusing as well, a back alley has different small shops where locals go to, cafes and a great pizza house right across the corner.The last but not least about our trip is that we actually forgot our wedding rings there believe it or not and after calling the manager Fran one day after we checked out, he soon called us back to say his team has actually found the rings and we await their safe return. This we have to admit was the ultimate gesture of credability and trust from this hotel managment and if we ever visit Rome again, we will look no further

Nice hotel; dangerous area
We actually booked the Eurostars on Via Nationale, but an error resulted in us being put at this one. We thought we'd make the best of it, since we figured that it wasn't too far away, and the rooms here were actually much nicer. The staff was generally quite friendly, and the rooms were excellent. Everything was nice and clean, and we had a nice balcony overlooking a small courtyard.I had read other reviews about this area being far and a bit rough, but thought that taking a bus into town wouldn't be so bad. We had no problems taking the bus (although it is pretty sketchy), but upon our departure were mugged as soon as we crossed the street to take the bus (on our way to the airport with all of our bags); it was 1 o'clock in the afternoon. We were still traveling for two weeks and this put a damper on the afternoon for sure. I liked the hotel itself, but would not stay here again due to this area.If you are willing to take taxis for each journey (especially to and from the airport - I think it's 50 Euro each way), this is a good hotel for you. Otherwise, I would recommend avoiding it.

Lovely hotel
We stayed at the Eurostar for a 3 night break during our trip to Rome. We took a taxi to the hotel from the airport so got there straight away, cost us a standard price of 30 euros.Check in was nice and easy, staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, they explained about the Metro and bus system and where to get it and how much it would cost.I thought the hotel for us was quite well placed, 30-40 mins walk from most main attractions is not bad, the exercise was good for us. the metro was close anyway.Room was modern, nice and clean. Maid service was very good too.The bed was huge and very comfortable.Breakfast was nice and a good variety too, something for everyone.Overall we were very happy with our stay at the Eurostar and would definately use it again.Rome was fantastic, first time visit for me and loved it.Tip, make sure you leave enough money for city tax, 3 Euros a night.

Lovely hotel
Stayed here for 2 nights during our Italian trip. Although quite far from the main attractions, the metro is a 10min walk away. The hotel is quite modern. The rooms are maybe a tad small but are very clean, comfy and well kept. The service is great, we had an issue with our shower head and got it swiftly fixed. The breakfast is fine, lots to choose from. Overall, would stay again.

A wonderful stay
Stayed at the Euro stars Hotel from the 13th until the 15th of April and my views of the hotel from such a short stay were fantastic. Finding the hotel was slightly difficult and took around 30 minutes (walking) from the Rome station but on arrival we found out that we could of got on the bus number 105 from out side the train station. Getting to and from Rome city center we hopped on the 81 bus which like the 105 drops and picks you up from outside the hotel and the 81 bus takes you all around the attractions including the Colosseum and the Vatican and only costs 1 euro 50 cent which entitles you to 100 minutes from the moment you validate the ticket on the bus which is a very good deal. The hotel staff were very friendly and there are juice drinks available on arrival and through out your stay. The room and hotel itself was very clean and i felt the staff were very helpful especially when giving us a map and showing us bus routes and places to go etc. Over all a wonderful stay in Rome and i would highly recommend staying at the Euro star hotel. :)
