Excellent 5 day break
I stayed at this hotel with a U3A group for 4 nights. I found it to be a very comfortable hotel and had a lovely double room. The only problem for me was no separate shower and I am unable to climb into the bath, other than that it was great. The cleanliness in the room was excellent. The reception staff helpful as were the bar staff. We had a fixed evening menu (with choices) and the food was of a good standard. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a fantastic choice of food. The staff in the dininig room were attentive and extremely pleasant. The hotel was welll placed next to the shopping area, unfortunately we did not have a lot of free time in Swindon itself. There was some building work across the road but this did not bother me and had good quality sleep. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Menzies Conference Facility
I recently held a conference at Menzies Swindon. The service was excellent and the team met all our needs and short notice requests.The rooms are clean but somewhat dated, my room had a fan but no ACFood in the restaurant was good and also a good wine selectionHighly recommended!

After reading some of the reveiws here i was a bit worried about going to this hotel but all I can say is the people must have stayed at a different hotel to us and I'm very fussyWe spent 2 nights here in room 212 could not fault a thing, staff are amazing and couldn't do enough for us, breakfast was good would not think twice about going back well done Menzies

Good hotel in central location
This hotel is centrally located in Swindon. It doesn't have its own car park but there is parking across the road and the hotel will validate the ticket for a reduced cost. The room was small but well equiped and clean. Staff very very helpful particularly in the restaurant. We had a limited time as we were going to a show and they made suggestions and brought the food out quickly. The quality of the food was very good as was the breakfast. The hotel offers free WiFi.
