Good value

Good place, bad people!
It's not what you say but how you say it. The restaurant manager was like a mad woman. Geeeeesh! Maybe she owns the darn place. I told the young ladies at the front desk about my issue with her, hopefully they will pass my complaint onto a "higher up" I was told that no one was in as far as managers (very weird) however they were very nice to me and understanding. This lady almost took my head off (literally)

Busienss Stay
Jackie at the front desk is amazing if you get her to check you in; she really understands customer service and how to accommodate a weary traveler! The rooms were comfortable and near many towns and restaurants.

Are comfortable beds enough
The hotel went a renovation several years back and while the lobby and public spaces were totally updated the rooms were just given a coat of paint, flat screen TVs and comfortable beds, and a redone bathroom. There are no safes, refrigerators in the rooms, items which are generally included in a higher priced hotel, such as the DT. There is also a $4.95 daily charge for WIFI, give me a break, couldn't it be included as it is in most properties. What I found amusing was the big deal that is made about the wam cookie one is given at check in, should replace it with WIFI.Being a place that does host weddings, etc., be prepared for noise and running in halls. The elevator and halls are not in the best condition and a definite overhaul is needed.If you choose not to eat at the hotel there are options within walking distance and a CVS right across the street.Would we stay again, maybe.

They make the best of what they have
To be clear, this is a 60's motel and they make the best of it. Totally agree with the other reviewers that the restaurant was the best part of the experience. Not fancy (or overpriced) business hotel restaurant, but instead, local food perfectly prepared and a restaurant manager who personally stepped in to open the patio for the first time this year so we could eat outside on a glorious day. Most of the great reviews seem to be from people having events at the hotel. If you are a business traveler, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, but the desk chair didn't fit the desk and the phone was from 1985 (although I appreciated the excellent speakerphone for a business call). Overall fine but not sure if the restaurant and bed are enough to stay there again next time. Maybe.
