!st time in Hong Kong
Decent city hotel, room clean bed comfortable, smooth check-in/out, good location for excellent metro system, lobby bar comfortable with tasty snack menu and waist busting home made cakes, drinks not too expensive for a city hotel. Would stay here again if revisiting Hong Kong.

Great location & comfortable room
Cityview has got a great loaction at Waterloo Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is just a 5 min walk to the Yau Ma Tei MTR station. And right outside the MTR station is a local cafe where you can catch a nice breakfast. It is also within walking distance to a convenient store and the famous Temple St Night Market. The hotel room itself is spacious and has free wifi. Value for money.

Location is everything
While the rooms may not be fantastic, the location makes up for (almost) everything else. Located just 2 minutes' walk away from Yau Ma Tei MTR station, it was extremely convenient for shopping, food, etc. The rooms were on the small and old side, but at least it was still clean and decent. Prices were reasonable too. Soundproofing was poor though, so don't get a room just outside the lift.

good location but disappointing accommodation
We stayed here for 3 Nights and were given a deluxe room which was not even big enough to put our suitcases in. When we asked to be moved they showed us askedto be moved they showed us a smaller room, hence we stayed where we were. They are doing renovations and felt the jackhammer was going to come through our room, did not stop until 6pm. Found staff not very friendly at all. Overall nice foyer, bar and breakfast but make sure you get a big oom and definitely not room 7011.

In Love With HONG KONG
So impressed with this hotel that we plan to stay when we return. No complaints about the room, we stayed on a higher floor, perfect, no noise at all. Great location, close to everything you'll need-full stop. Staff very helpful in every way, room was clean, more than comfortable. Read all of the reviews, they speak for themselves. A great city to explore, we were here for a week, crammed as much as we could into that week, out every day, all day. The trains are easy to use & very punctual, do yourself a favour, buy an Oyster Card, only way to go. When you place the card onto the machine at any station, it gives you the balance of the card every journey, can be topped up as you go. Anyway, you pay to go on a holiday so, don't sit on your bum in the hotel, get out in the crowd, soak up the atmosphere & enjoy every minute as we did. We ate, shopped, travelled all over the countryside, laughed, photographed (ask for permission before you start clicking, most are happy to have you take a photo or two), we walked for miles to explore those alley ways to experience the traditional lifestyle & we were not disappointed, you won't be either. LOVE YOU HONG KONG...have a happy holiday.
