Definite pros and definite cons...
We checked in on a Friday night, and although it was really quite busy, the staff were friendly and helpful, as well as efficient. We got a free upgrade to a larger room, which was nice, but totally necessary as it turned out because the upgraded room was TINY. The view outside our window was of a giant neon sign advertising the Chinese restaurant in the hotel itself. The bed was really comfortable though, with a mattress that wasn't too firm or too soft. Duvet was difficult to manage: during the night, it got really hot, to the point where I was sweating, and then the a/c blasted a bit more, and it was comfortable again. The shower was a bit gross, as there was a bit of discoloration, but it was dry at least. The bar downstairs was nice and the live band was decent. We were glad that we were only there overnight though - the location itself isn't the best, and the area around it isn't exactly hopping with options for food or anything. There's a funeral parlour just around the side of the hotel, which surprised us as no other reviews we'd read had mentioned it. No big deal at the end of the day, but that, and the few options there were for food and drinks nearby, mean that we probably won't be staying here again.

Good Hotel, but...
The Hotel is located in a quiet area of Hong Kong, good if you want to leave the stress of Central or TST, but there isnt much to do there. Therefore it is good as a base, from which you make you trips to all the places in Hong Kong. There is the MTR station Quarry Bay, Exit C, which helps much to reach Causeway Bay in 20 min. or Central in around 25-28 min.In front of the Hotel is as well a Tram stopp, which is quite convinece if you want to hopp on the tram and explore some parts of the Island in a less speedy way.The breakfast buffet is good, especially to mention is the omlet station, where a member of the staff prepares you custom omlet for you. They have as well the usual chinese and western breakfast items, like congee or baked beans. The bar, located close to the lobby, is nothing special. Good for a drinks, as long it is not a demanding drink, like a margarita, more like some draught beers or a vodka on the rocks. The staff is friendly but the luggage delivery lacks quite a bit, as mentioned by other travelers before, therefore better take you bags by yourself and avoid let them be delivered by the staff. Because this can take quite a long time. And now the big but, there is no free Internet, neither WIFI or cabels, neither in the rooms or in the lobby which is, from my point of view a big no go for such kind of hotel. They claim that they have to do this due to the provider, but well why dont you cange the provider if he forces the hotel to disappont their customers?P.s Starbucks on the opposite side of the hotel offers free WIFI for 30min with any purchased items, so this might be a solution but not THE solution...To sum it up, a good hotel in a good location with some lacks and a okay value for you money,

Normal hotel but no internet.
Its a plain hotel located in at the exit C of the Metro. Well connected. Even they provide complementary shuttle for use in the day, but the timings are restricted. Its stops at 7 PM in the night. Room size is just OK. And there is no view from my room except looking on to the road next. For business travelers this hotel is especially annoying. There is no free internet. And they charge you extra for internet. I specially had an incident with the Baggage delivary part. When I checked into the hotel, the front desk guys told me that they will deliver my bag at my room. I said i can take it but still they wanted to deliver. Waited for 10 mins and then called reception. They said they will check and deliver asap. waited for another 15 mins, and I decided to go down and collect the bag. The bag was still at the same place. Very bad experience. I had to wait more time than at the airport for my bag.

Mediocre, plain, depressing view, lacks wifi
My brother in law booked this hotel for us for two nights as he is a long term resident. It was disappointing.. a plain basic hotel with impersonal service. Our room on seventeenth floor was hemmed in by high rise buildings and sky was not visible. Due to the lack of light, it felt like a cave. To add to the depressive mood, the hotel is next to a funeral home. The room itself is okay but nondescript. However, for close to $200 a night for a non-peak period, we would expect at least free wifi. Overall, there are many better value options..Look elsewhere.

Good Hotel for sight seeing
We stayed at the Harbour Plaza North Point for 3 nights on our way to Borneo. The Hotel is a good, clean and central hotel with access onto the subway over the road. One of the downfalls is the lack of free internet however most Starbucks and other coffee shops have free wifi. Free water supplied each day was a bonus and the beds very conformtable.
