Great stay in the centre of Dandenong
Comfortable and convenient right in the centre of Dandenong. 5 minutes walk from the railway station and 5 minutes walk from the market. Directly opposite a large shopping centre and Picture Theatre.Also just around the corner from the RSL Club.Just a nice place with very friendly and helpful staff, I was especially fond of Steve at the front desk.

Great stay for business, convenient and comfortable.
I have stayed at this hotel for 1 night while travelling through Melbourne. The actual location is quite far from the CBD, but within Dandendong it's actually quite convenient as it is located just across the street from a shopping centre. Parking is convenient as it is off the street, check-in was quick and easy. The room is very clean, comfortable and modern. The bed was also very comfortable and quite big. The bathroom is also very modern and nice, and overall it was a comfortable and great stay.

Terrible Hotel
first of all there is no where to park at the front of the hotel, so you need to go straight up the ramp to the hotels parking area and go to check in from there. I had booked 4 rooms, in two of the rooms, the TV did not work and there was no soap or shampoo and conditioner in the dispensers. The lamp in one room did not have a globe in it. Had asked for a porta cot to be set up in one which had not been done, when it arrived it was set up thought it was broken and very unsafe to leave a baby, therefore could not be used. The air conditioner does not work properly in the rooms, either too hot or too cold would not adjust to appropriate setting. Breakfast is not replenished quickly enough, so get in early before the bus loads of Asian tourists get in and cough and sneeze all over the food.Every sound can be heard in the rooms especially in corridors. There are too many other things to mention, my advice is to stay somewhere else. This hotel should not charge over $100 for there rooms. The area is unsafe!

Room to improve.
Room 237 T.v not working very dissappointing,reception was notified,nothing was done.A bin in the room was dirty a bag placed in the bin to cover it.No sauces for the cups.Credit to the front entrance as was clean.Breakfast is becoming boring same old menu.The encore is convenient to Dandenong.Price is good value. +++++

looks nice and shiny.... but dig a little deeper and the cracks appear
The hotel is located on a somewhat scary strip in Dandenong, when we arrived there were overflowing bins on the steet at the entrance.The appearance of the hotel inside was modern and the staff polite but as soon as there was a problem the managers brutally corporate approach was out of step with the 'hospitatlity' industry. The gym looks well equipped but each of the 4 cardio machines had issues affecting their use and the gym room was overheated - around 30 degrees and it couldn't be adjusted.The hotel is also noisy during the night. If you stay just hope nothing goes wrong.
