Adequate
New hotel, rooms small but clean and in good condition. Neighborhood looks iffy, but hotel is just two minutes from subway and from Queensboro bridge, 10 minutes from Manhattan with all the parking space you may need. Breakfast buffet acceptable. Employees don't seem able to communicate well with guests. Will probably consider it for my next trip to NY.

This is a reasonably-priced alternative for a family trip to Manhattan. Only one block from subway. Neighborhood is light-industrial; did not seem dangerous but would not want to walk alone at night. Breakfast rooms too crowded for this many visitors, but the bagel shop one street over was great.

Good enough for a few nights
It's not a five star, but the room service and the rooms are very clean and good. People from front desk are very patient and friendly. The only problem is the neighborhood. I don't if it's safe to walk around after midnight. On the other hand they have a subway station very close to the hotel. I would be there again.

Nice. ..
We went with our 2 teenage children & although not in the best area, was only 4 stops on tube to manhattan, good value. Ask for room on front of hotel above 5th floor, great views of manhattan. Room was cleaned and serviced daily, breakfast was bagels doughnuts, cereal, fruit and yogurts with coffee &juices -great start to the day.Was nice to get away from busy manhattan & better value. Hotel just been taken over & gym was out of use, but we were too busy to think about this!!!Would definitely return.
