Great hotel!
Everything was top notch from check in to check out. Our room had a fabulous Japanese shower/bath, large rooms, great linens and very, very clean. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant Gonpachi was also excellent. Make time to go next door to the Mitsuwa shopping complex, have lunch there, you will not be disappointed with the authentic Japanese fare in the food court. Take time to browse the Japanese grocery store where I found many specialty items, fresh wasabi root,3 million/yr. old pink salt. We enjoyed this hotel and the market experience next door.

To the general manager as for correction on the information "MAKATI CITY PHILIPPINES is the heart of the business city in Manila" and the "RED DISTRICT is in MALATE Manila. Fabulous!!
What a lovely hotel! Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms with beautiful amber lighting. A bathroom with a tub which rivals the spa downstairs! Free Wi-Fi and parking, easy freeway access. Restaurant served excellent food. I look forward to going back!

Best hotel ever after thirty years in 4 and 5 stars
Beautiful, super clean, civilised, luxuary (at least as good as most five stars !), excellent and friendly service. Very extensive breakfast including a lovely selection of fresh fruits, including blueberries. Wonderful, large rooms with super bathroom, including a toilet which doubles as a fantastic bidet ! We have decided we want the same one at home. As to location, it suited us perfectly, even though a quarter of an hour away from the beach. Musea and other entertainment are all quite far apart from eachother anyway, so you'll have to travel wherever you are, unless you are just a beachbum. There is, however, a wonderful Japanese market next door, where you can get lovely fresh food, including sushi. We stayed for 17 nights and for the first time in our life we were almost sad to go home. Perfect hotel for civilised adults (although I'm sure they would welcome families also !)
