Great views and atmosphere
This is my favourite hotel to stay in in Sydney. The rooms that overlook The Conservatorium of Music and Botanical Gardens have the most amazing view. The lobby area is the old post office and is full of charm. If your budget allows go for a club room. You won't be disappointed

A consistently very good hotel in a great location
The Intercon. is coveniently located to Circular Quay, The Rocks, The City and Oxford Street - which makes dining out, shopping and sightseeing very easy.I have stayed here many times over the years and it remains an elegant hotel that has a really good feel to it. My most recent stay was over-night for business in a city-view room which was very nice without being outstanding. However what really makes the difference is when you have a room with a view of the Opera House and Habour Bridge - simply stunning. Staff are well trained and attentive to your needs, something I value highly.Internet access is expensive when it should be free - this needs to be rectified.A consistently very good hotel for holidays or business. I will be back.

Heritage charm lost in poor rooms
A hotel with beautifully restored heritage arcitecture. Unfortunately the beauty of the heritage charm does not translate into the rooms as they are quite small and dated. the bathrooms are tired and far from 5 star. Luckily I was upgraded to a room with harbour and opera house view which was the saving grace for the room. Dining menu is excellent and so is the breakfast and bar in lobby. I probably wouldn't stay here again onside ring all the other great holes on offer in Sydney.

Fabulous hotel
We stayed here for 6 nights in a lovely corner suite with great views of both the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. The staff were fantastic in particular with my little girl who turned 4 on our last day at the hotel. They were happy to arrange balloons and banners for her as well as cake and presents. Fantastic service at this hotel and a wonderful location for catching the great ferries around Sydney.

Very sweet stay
Very much worth the money. We should have stayed in the club level seeing that included free breakfast and much more perks. The only bad side was having to pay for internet, As much as the room cost you would think it would be free.Staff was helpful and hotel was gorgeous.
