Great pool, good location, slightly tired rooms
It's all about the lagoon pool at this resort, and it's a good one, with a sand beach and graded depths for the kids, and a 50 length at full depth for swimming laps. Adjacent to the beach and a couple of moments walk to the restaurants and amenities of Port Douglas. We paid top dollar in peak season long weekend and it seemed overpriced for the slightly tired and cramped bedrooms in a 2br suite.

Great resort
Located in easy walking distance to the main shopping precinct. The staff were really professional and the rooms and grounds were immaculate. We stayed in spa suite but our friends had an apartment with BBQ facilities so got to view the different accommodations. Enjoyed our stay.

Great Family Experience
Had a great time at Peppers. Stayed in the first level pool plunge suite and it was a perfect fit for an 8 and 12 year old. I was off-season so rates were fair but the two bedroom was huge and modern. It was more than what we needed. Walking distance to the beach and main street, but the kids enjoyed the pool more than anything else!

Value
We stayed in a Penthouse Spa Suite. This means you are on the top floor (level 3). When you book, check for steps if this is a issue for you. So we had a spa outside, but no barbecue. Having said that, we got a bargain I think. $120 a night for four nights and this included a more than decent breakfast (I can't agree with An earlier review criticising the breakfast. It had really nice fruit, muesli, all kinds of toast and so on. You can also choose to pay more for a cooked breakfast if you want. The staff were really good. Gym is small but ok. Go straight to Coles and buy goodies because the bar food is laid out to tempt you. There are lots of families here, pre schoolers. We have decided to avoid the in house restaurant for dinner, based on the reviews.

Great Place
Staying in a one bedroom suite was fantastic. True quality fixtures and facilities with great staff. Close to town and the central pool relaxing. Even the drink prices were great for such a up-market place. Will certainly be going back here again.
