Fantastic -worth the money spent

What a great experience! The gentleman who took our booking was pleasant and very helpful to start with. We arrived early, so when we arrived at the hotel, the staff at reception were really great. They helped us to get booked in and arranged for the concierge to take care of our luggage until the room was ready, and we made our way over to the casino for some lunch. The reception people gave us a call when the room was ready, and we were directed over to the lifts. Our room exceeded our expectations, it was like we were in a luxury room in a movie! When the tv went on, reception had put up a welcome message especially for us!!! We had gone to the hotel for my husband's 50th birthday. One of the staff knocked on our door, and gave hubby a birthday card and a bottle of yummy white wine. The restaurants were great and service all round was brilliant! No complaints here!!

Good hotel, friendly lounge staff, but expensive like most of Perth

Stayed in a Luxe King Spa Room for one night.Crown Metropol is a pretty stylish hotel, with huge resort like pools for its guests to enjoy (they certainly looked nice, but I didn't have the time), and friendly staff (with only one exception). My room came with Lounge Access - I only really stopped in for a look in the evening (but the lady on duty was lovely!) and for breakfast in the morning, but it was a nice place and enjoyed some great views out over the atrium. As this is Perth, food and beverage was higher than the eastern states, but that's just Perth. One of the nicer places to stay in the West.

5 star hotel but very expensive

We recently spent the night at the Crown Metropol for our 25th wedding anniversary. We live in Perth and thought a 5 star treatment was what we needed. The hotel and rooms are awesome. The rooms were nicely decorated. We loved the spaciousness of the room and the view. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The king bed was very comfortable. They gave us a bottle of wine and card for our special anniversary which was a nice touch. We had two small things which could be improved. The aircon was cold and did not heat up even though we altered the temperature dial. We shut the aircon off. The noise of the fan in the toilet was very loud and we had to shut all 3 doors to get make room quieter. Illumination of the LCD panel next to the bed which was for lights aircon, make up room etc was brightly illuminated when room was dark and I kept waking up to see it lit up. I did not have anything with me to tape it up. This was a disturbance to my sleep. The food and drinks is very expensive even for Perth. This casino hotel does not subsidise food or drinks like Sydney and Melbourne Casino Hotels

Loved it.

I stayed here a few weeks ago and have to say that I loved it. You don¿¿¿t need to leave the hotel for anything. Not sure why people are saying you need to pay for a bucket of ice. We had an Ice bucket in our room with a note saying where the ice machines were located.Love all the little bars around the place and the restaurants are amazing. The renovations have definitely worked in Crown¿¿¿s favour. Agree that it is very pricey, but that comes with the name I suppose.

High class service comes at a price

Beautiful hotel especially after recent renovations, staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Stayed in the King Spa room which was not cheap however the quality of the room and the level of service provided throughout the hotel was definitely top notch. Access to the lounge in the evening was a very pleasurable experience and lounge staff were quick to top up drinks and bring more snacks. If you're looking to live it up for a night or two this is the place.
