Good Experience
A good location for my recent business trip to Melbourne. I paid a competetive price, was upgraded to a corner room that had nice views over the churches. Great stay and I couldn't fault it. I would stay here agsin.

In need of some TLC. Event staff outstanding.
I spent two days here to run a workshop for a client.The hotel in general is in desperate need of some TLC. The paint work in the hallways is scuffed and discolored from bags being dragged against it over many years.The room was adequate, though small, and you need to manoeuvre around the fittings and move things. It was however, very clean.The restaurant downstairs produced an amazing steak for me and a colleague, and gave decent, if inexpert, advice on wine.The entire experience was greatly enhanced by the professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile of the events staff - Susan and her team - who belong in a bigger, more well-appointed venue (or should at least be paid more).I doubt I'd stay here again. There's nothing particularly enticing about the hotel. It's serviceable and does the job.

Fantastic location and great pool - heated, with great views. However was not as happy with the staff - they were quite creepy. I was a lone female traveller and I'm not sure if I'd go there again. The paint job was also a bit dodgy...

Average Hotel, Great Location
This is an average hotel but located right in the city centre. The rooms are small with no views although a balcony is provided. Good toiletries provided. The staff is courteous, helpful and friendly.

Hire some cleaners with eyes.
Hotel staff are great and friendly. Room was small but Adequate. Balcony was a complete disgrace, you can see anyone else anywhere near there window and we had some random area at the same level full of cigarette butts and a LOT of broken glass. Clearly the balcony and that area have not been cleaned jn a long time! The rooms at first sight appear very clean but on a closer look the cleaners clearly have no attention to detail as all light switches/handles/benchtops/ any other slightly hard to clean spots are full of dirt and dust and the floors also have not been mopped. Overall its fine but this is in no way up to the standards it should be when it comes to cleaning. We are here for three more nights. If we are never seen again please tell the world our message! ;)
